Just a quick update:

The water may be off in the sections intermittently throughout the day as we work to repair multiple leaks in our system.

If you need water while you're here and the section spigots are off, the spigot on the North side of the office is always on and available for use.

Our Linden Meadow is a tranquil, natural meadow located deeper within the heart of our cemetery that offers a peaceful retreat from the city around, and a green alternative to burials.

Good Morning!

It's March 15th, which means our annual Spring Cleanup has begun. All winter decorations left on the graves will be removed by our grounds and placed on the side of the road for disposal starting today.

If you have any decorations that you want to keep, please remove them before our staff does, otherwise we cannot guarantee that they will be here later.

We also would like to take this time to remind everyone of our decoration rules here at the cemetery, which you can find on our website: https://www.clintongrove.com/cemetery-rules

The picture shows just how many sticks have been removed over the winter already and our grounds team are working hard to clean up the rest.

We can't wait to see the green leaves come in and the beauty of our cemetery in the Spring!

The Mausoleum has been fully renovated and is now open again to the public.

If you hadn't seen why the Mausoleum was closed before, it had been closed for repairs after the roof had been damaged and leaked. Plaster had fallen from the spot that had been leaking, even after the leak had been repaired due to moisture in the plaster.

Finding someone who does plaster for a historical building like this was difficult, so one became available we wanted them in ASAP. In order to do plaster work, the inside had to be sealed off to the cold and required additional heating which meant they had equipment inside at all times during this process. This meant that we had to close the building off to the public while the plaster was being applied and cured. Once that was done, they painted and we replaced the carpets.

No damage occurred to anyone's space and the restoration team covered all the faces to make sure nothing was harmed.

We understand that for some people the timing was not ideal and we agree. But waiting would mean the Mausoleum would have been poor looking for up to another year with how booked plaster workers are. We decided to do it as quickly as possible so that we could ensure that your visits were not focused on the plaster damage and instead on the memory of your loved ones.

We here at Clinton Grove Cemetery appreciate your patience and you are welcome to reach out to us if there is anything we can help with. Looking forward to a great Spring real soon!
