💜 Help make autoimmune disease visible in your own community!

We’re rallying advocates across the country to secure Autoimmune Awareness Month proclamations in as many places as possible, and we need your help!

A proclamation is an official statement from a mayor, county leader, or governor recognizing March as Autoimmune Awareness Month. It helps raise awareness, spark conversations, and show that autoimmune disease matters.

You can request one for your town or city, county, or state. We’ve made it simple with a step-by-step guide and pre-written emails.

👉 Make Autoimmune Awareness Month visible in your community. It only takes a few minutes. Get the toolkit now: https://autoimmune.org/autoimmune-awareness-month-proclamations/

Yesterday, President Trump signed a bill that provided a $415M increase in funding for the National Institutes of Health. This bill is transformative and will lead to increased life-saving and life-changing cures and treatments for autoimmune patients. We are grateful to all of the Senate appropriators who pushed for this funding increase.

At the Autoimmune Association we work every day for people who can’t wait for better treatments and cures. Medical research is delivering breakthroughs — but millions are still waiting.

That’s why we’re proud to join United for Cures’ National Day of Action on January 21 to urge Congress to increase federal funding for medical research in FY26.
