Looking for a role where you feel supported and empowered to do your best work?
Our Madison Heights campus features four specialized clinics, serving learners from age 2 through young adulthood, giving you the opportunity to make an impact across developmental stages in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
As BCBA Halee shares: "I have felt empowered to succeed at Healing Haven because of the support that I receive from our team of Clinical Directors. Any time I need advice, extra supervision, or an observation for one of my learners, the help has always been there."
Join a team that prioritizes mentorship, clinical excellence, and meaningful outcomes.
This month, weâre thrilled to spotlight one of our incredible BCBAs, Jenn!
Jenn joined our team in fall 2020 as a Behavior Technician. After about two years as a Registered Behavior Technician, she entered our Practicum Program. During that time, she served as an Early Intervention Clinic Classroom Group Leader and Training Supervisor while also working as an intensive Parent Trainer. Jenn became a BCBA in spring 2024, first supporting our Madison Heights campus before transferring to our Clinton Township clinic last September.
Jennâs passion for working with children with autism began while earning her bachelorâs degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Through her college speech clinic, she worked with a three-year-old with an articulation disorderâan experience that sparked her interest in psychology and ABA. Once she realized this was the right path, Jenn left the food industry that supported her through college and moved from the Upper Peninsula to Detroit to join Healing Haven.
One of Jennâs most meaningful memories is working with her very first client during COVID and watching him grow from using minimal language to speaking in simple sentences over seven months. Seeing that progress firsthand solidified her passion for this work and the impact it can have.
Jenn is a wonderful example of the growth thatâs possible at Healing Haven through dedication, compassion, and heart. Weâre so grateful to have you on our team, Jenn! đ

At Healing Haven, mindfulness is a meaningful pillar of what we practice each day. Itâs something we intentionally weave into how we support our clients and guide and train our staff.
As we head into a new week, it's a gentle reminder to pause, take a breath, and notice the good that already exists in the present moment. With a mindful outlook, even small moments can become meaningful ones.

We are a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence providing ABA Therapy for children with autism and other developmental needs from the ages of 2-16. We serve the entire family through our Parent Training Program, Stress Management and Counseling.
Founded in 2010 by Jamie McGillivary, MS, LLP, BCBA, we are a team of professionals that have dedicated our lives to bettering the lives of families of children with special needs. We specialize in autism, though we are skilled at treating all children that have behavioral issues or deficits in the area of socialization, language and play.
We are âout of the boxâ thinkers when it comes to our treatment approach that is rooted in ABA therapy. We believe in listening to each familyâs unique set of needs, and creating a plan that treats everyone in the family, all while meeting each person where they are at in their journey.
Research very clearly states that early intervention for children with developmental disabilities is a must. When children receive intervention early on, the likelihood of negative behaviors decreases, because appropriate behaviors are taught from the beginning.
Although the premise of early intervention is logical, very little consideration has been given to the concept of early intervention for parental coping skills. When a parent is given the tools to both teach their child and take care of themselves, they maximize their childâs outcome, while maintaining the cohesiveness within their family.
