Today marks a difficult moment as we officially close our Clinton Twp. pharmacy location.
The pharmacy industry has faced immense challenges, and unfortunately, the pressures from PBMs (pharmacy benefit managers) have made it increasingly difficult for independent pharmacies to thrive.

Franks (Advanced Care) Pharmacy joined the HomeTown Pharmacy family of pharmacies in September of 2017, when the former owner selected HomeTown Pharmacy to carry forward his legacy in the Clinton Township and Mt Clemens community. Franks Pharmacy, now referred to as HomeTown Pharmacy of Clinton Township is a full service pharmacy, complete with a DME (medical equipment) show room, certified equipment sales and fitting, daily delivery, and all of the health care needs for your family. About HomeTown Pharmacy
The concept behind HomeTown Pharmacy developed from a simple desire: Bring together the personalized service of independently-owned community pharmacies with the bargaining power and efficiencies of a larger corporation.
As second-generation pharmacists, the founders both started out working for a national drug store chain upon graduation from college.They each moved on to purchase their own independent pharmacy, with the help and support of their father. Both brothers came to realize the necessity of growth for future survival and the importance of patient-driven, community pharmacy.
In 1996, after much planning, they purchased Gobles Pharmacy in Gobles, Michigan, and thus HomeTown Pharmacy was born. Today, HomeTown Pharmacy operates over 40 pharmacies around the state of Michigan and Indiana to include retail pharmacy, long-term care pharmacy, home infusion pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, and durable medical equipment.
