My first encounter with home healthcare was as a high school student when I was a secretary at my aunts’ agency. I was intrigued by the idea of healthcare being delivered at home instead of the traditional hospital or clinical setting.

Years later, as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, working in the home care setting, my fascination with the industry blossomed into a passion. I wanted to open an agency that brings exceptional and holistic home care to patients.

However, it wasn’t until I got my married and moved to Clinton, NJ, that my husband encouraged me to purse my dreams. We investigated several service models before deciding on BrightStar Care because of their reputation and exceptional standards.

We are proud to serve our community, striving to provide our clients and families with the highest standard of care.

A Nurse on Your Side With BrightStar Care, your loved one’s home care from day one is supervised by a Registered Nurse. A nurse on your side means you have someone to explain what’s normal and what isn’t, answer questions and ensure your loved one gets the care that’s right for them.

No two people are alike. We honor that. From round-the-clock care to just a few hours a week, we create a plan of care that works for you and your budget.

Meet your caregiver. Your BrightStar Care® nurse helps select the right caregiver for your loved one. All caregivers are fully screened, background-checked, trained, bonded and insured, and in-person, in-depth interviews help us find the most compassionate, dedicated people. We encourage their growth and development with continuing education and support from their RN leader and team.

Quality in-home care for all ages. We serve many seniors in the community, but BrightStar Care is for anyone, any age, who needs help at home. This includes long-term care for special needs children, temporary help after surgery and much more.

The gold seal of approval. The Joint Commission is a nationally recognized organization that accredits the nation’s best hospitals and other major health care systems. Each BrightStar Care agency is required to obtain and maintain accreditation from The Joint Commission which validates that we follow their requirements for the highest level of safety and care.

BrightStar Care also provides healthcare staffing solutions to businesses on a temporary, temporary to permanent and permanent placement basis. We provide personnel to hospitals, nursing homes, doctors’ offices, labs and anywhere healthcare staff is needed.
