Q: What advice would you give to someone wanting to become a vet?
Dr. Silas: "Focus on your grades, especially in science classes, but don't stop there. Build a strong relationship with your local veterinarian and spend as much time shadowing as possible. If you can, get experience at multiple different styles of practice. The more exposure you get, the more confident and prepared you'll be."
