Hey beautiful souls 🌸
After a lot of quiet wrestling, prayer, and reflection, I’ve decided not to renew the lease on our studio. Our final in-person class inside the space will be March 31.
This decision has been so hard, and something I’ve wrestled with quietly for a long time.
The Soulful Co. started online years ago, before the pandemic made online popular. It grew in ways I never imagined. When the opportunity came to open a brick-and-mortar space, it felt like the natural next step — a sign of success. A dream unfolding.
And this space… it has lived a lot of life.
It stayed open through COVID mandates, through losses, endings and new beginnings. Women walked through these doors carrying so much — and they cried here, laughed here, hugged here, healed here. Strangers became friends. Bodies softened. Nervous systems exhaled. Our team was nothing short of amazing.
This studio was built with intention, faith, and so much heart. And while this chapter is closing, I don’t see it as a failure — I truly see it as an evolution. Sometimes growth looks like expansion, and sometimes it looks like refinement.
So often in the wellness space we tell others to take care of themselves, fill up their cup, and not burn out — while quietly burning ourselves out. I’ve been that person. And I don’t want to be that person anymore.
Being a new mom and a boutique fitness studio owner meant my attention was always divided. And in this season, I want more mornings. More presence.
This isn’t goodbye. And I am never selling The Soulful Co.!
The Soulful Co. will continue online with more time for fitness challenges, plans, and class variety. We’ll continue hosting in-person pop-ups and expanding our events. This is simply the closing of the brick-and-mortar chapter.
If you’ve been meaning to come to class, I would love to see you before March 31. Let’s make this final month inside these walls meaningful.
And if you can’t make it, I just want you to know that I remember every single one of you who stepped into this space. As I type this I am being flooded with memories of the first in person classes I taught where new clients, old friends, and friends in the making came in to move and show their support.
Thank you for trusting this space. Thank you for bringing your whole selves here. This chapter will always live in me 🤍
Love,
Danielle
