In our busy lives, it’s easy to rush through meals or eat distractedly, which can lead to overeating and poor digestion. Practicing mindful or intuitive eating helps you become more aware of your hunger and fullness cues, which is key to creating a healthier relationship with food.

How to Eat Mindfully:

🥑Slow Down: Take time to chew your food thoroughly and savor each bite. This can help with digestion and allow your brain to catch up with your stomach.

🍌Eat Without Distractions: Try to minimize distractions like TV, phones, or working while eating. Focus on the experience of eating and how the food tastes, smells, and feels.

🍎Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to your hunger signals. Eat when you’re truly hungry and stop when you’re satisfied, not stuffed.

Mindful eating helps you stay in tune with your body’s needs, making it easier to avoid emotional eating or mindless snacking.

Meatballs! Organic grass fed beef, parsley, organic egg, garlic, onion, salt & pepper, GF bread crumbs and pecorino Romano cheese. I like to broil them for about 10 minutes in the oven and then throw them in the crock pot with tomato sauce. They come out so tender and delicious😋
