Healing Minds Counseling Center welcomes you. My name is LaShundra Clark, owner and CEO of Healing Minds Counseling Center (HMCC). I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Mississippi. I received my masters in counseling at THEE Jackson State University and my doctorate in professional counseling from Mississippi College. I am a southern girl, born and raised in Jackson, MS. Although life has taken me on many journeys, I always end up back at home. I have two wonderful children who I dedicate my life to. I began working in the field of mental health over 9 years ago. I have enjoyed this field ever since I spoke to my first client. My passion in life is to help, motivate, and encourage individuals who come from all walks of life. Although I provide services for all individuals, my specialty is children and adolescents. I love working with that demographic because I feel that if issues can be identified and nurtured early on in life, that child or adolescent can be given the tools to deal with difficult circumstances later on in life. I have worked solely with children, adolescents, and their families for over 5 years and I pray to continue working with them for many more years to come. I work with clients who are dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, oppositional or defiant behaviors, ADHD, anger, mood disorders, grief, family conflict, bipolar disorder, relationship, school, stress and so many more.
