Ocean Meadow is a specialized memory care community located in the heart of Clinton, just moments from the harbor. We are privately owned, which fosters a unique, homelike atmosphere and extremely tight knit relationships between our team, residents, and their families. Ocean Meadow offers a 24/7 onsite nursing team and provides care for all stages of Alzheimer's and related dementias. Memory care

specific programming is tailored to the individual needs, interests, and preferences of those that we are privileged to care for. We use recreation and laughter as a gateway to maintain physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and social wellbeing. We develop unique and creative programs as opportunities to create a sense of purpose.

A special thank you to Officer Corbin from Clinton CT Police Department, who shared his sidekick K9, Jagger, with us today! Jagger was rescued from an animal cruelty situation in 2022, and then easily charmed his way out of the Clinton pound. He was quickly deemed “too nice” to be a patrol dog—and has been spending his time with Clinton PD serving as a therapy dog in our school systems and on various initiatives for the town👮🏻‍♂️🐾Thank you Officer Corbin for your time!

This afternoon we celebrated National Sunglasses Day, and cooled off with an ice cream cake in honor of our June birthdays!😎🎂 Residents were also very excited to meet a special guest, Dolly—Sam’s new Frenchie!🐾

On June 21st, we honor the "Longest Day" in the fight against Alzheimer's. This globally recognized initiative is dedicated to raising awareness and support for those sadly affected by this disease. We stand in solidarity with those currently battling Alzheimer's, and we remember and cherish the memories of those we have lost. Together, we can shine a light on hope and resilience for every individual and family impacted💜

💡Meet our latest spotlight resident, Judy! She has been a friend of Ocean Meadow for several years now, and is loved for her quick humor and eagerness to try new things. Judy enjoys sharing stories about her sons, sitting on the patio with a cup of tea, and stealing cookies!🍪 We are so lucky to have met Judy and her family!

🇺🇸We’re so proud of our team—coming together from all departments to create an AMAZING Memorial Day for our folks! We enjoyed our front row spot on Route 1 to watch the parade, and ended our afternoon with a family style cook-out, complete with many homemade treats from our fantastic cooks, and plenty of patriotic sing-alongs. We hope you had a fun, restful holiday weekend!
