**Have you heard about Cupping Therapy & wonder what it is all about? Massage Cupping is the combination of massage movements & negative pressure with the use of a cup on the skin. A cup is positioned at the area to be treated & depending on the type of cups being used; a vacuum is created within the cup to draw the skin & underlying tissue into the cup. The produced vacuum creates a suction effect that increases blood & lymphatic circulation systemically & to the local area, relaxes muscle tissue & support, draws stagnation, pathogenic factors & toxins out of the body & releases a myriad of pain causing factors.
Another benefit of Negative Pressure Massage is that it really feels great. Happy Monday to all my clients! 😊 Just a few reminders going forward for the next few months:
1) All of you that have been with me for a while know that I cut back on my schedule A LOT starting the end of May thru mid August while my daughter is out of school. Please remember it will be longer in between your appointments during these months.
2) For those of you wanting massages more regularly I do have a therapist I can recommend you to that I personally receive massages from. He is located in Clinton as well and gives a good massage!
3) I am not taking on any new clients, I can either keep you on a cancellation list if one of my regulars should cancel or I can refer you to the other therapist I know as mentioned above.
4) Please remember common courtesy as there is a 24 hour notice required if you will not be able to make your appt!
