This week, Faith, our beloved therapy dog, stopped by GVMH dressed in the paw-fect Halloween look: an adorable pumpkin costume! She trotted through the halls spreading Howl-o-ween cheer to patients, families and staff. Whether it is a cheerful visit, a comforting cuddle or just a wag of the tail, Faith has a special way of lifting spirits. We are so thankful for the joy and warmth she brings on every visit!

October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, a time to honor and remember the lives of babies lost to miscarriage, stillbirth or death in early infancy. This day is dedicated to supporting families who have experienced these heartbreaking losses and raising awareness about the impact of pregnancy and infant loss.

For those seeking support, the Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the GVMH Medical Plaza Classroom. The group offers a compassionate space for parents and families to share their experiences and find comfort in community.
