The Henry County Health Center's rabies clinic is now closed for the day due to the depletion of vaccinations. We thank you for your attendance and commitment to rabies prevention. We were able to vaccinate 200 animals for the community.

Henry County Health Center is looking for an experienced phlebotomist who can work independently for one 8-hour shift per week. The ideal candidate must be supportive of Public Health policies and practices, including but not limited to the importance of vaccinations, prevention and education, and advocacy. Must also value the importance of being a team player and will put the needs of the patients first. Must be reliable, have good interpersonal skills, and willing to promote public health in a positive manner.

Job duties include venipuncture, prepping specimens for the courier, and processing paperwork. The workload is very moderately paced, and the working environment is excellent. Pay range from $17 to $24 per hour, based upon education and experience.
