πŸ“° A BIRD'S EYE VIEW πŸ“°

Has the latest edition of "A Bird's Eye View" arrived in your mailbox?

February is Career and Technical Education Month, and we are excited to dedicate this issue of "A Bird's Eye View" to the meaningful opportunities available to students at Clinton Technical School. These programs help students discover their strengths, explore future careers, and build skills they can use right here in our community to support the local workforce and economy.

Vital signs are essential for safe patient care and are one of the many important skills the CNA student must learn. Learning how to document & take accurate vital signs takes practice. We work on this all throughout the school year πŸ’™πŸ©Ί

πŸ’™ CARDINALS CARE β™₯️

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is one of our great community partners, and it’s always wonderful when we can support them, their efforts, and especially their patients.

Recently, HOSA (Future Health Professionals student organization) students from Clinton Technical School made 60 care packages for GVMH patients undergoing cancer treatment. On their day off from school, these students and their instructors (Tanya Snethen and Megan Weiss) delivered these packages to GVMH. They even had the honor of hand-delivering the first package to a patient.

Moments like these remind us how powerful partnerships between schools and our community can be. β™₯οΈπŸ’™
