Reva Mae Tidwell McCoy Rush

Reva Mae Tidwell McCoy Rush, a devoted cardiac nurse whose compassion and skill touched countless lives, passed away peacefully at her home on August 13, 2025, at the age of 93.

Reva was born on November 9, 1931, in Campbell County, and found her calling early in life: caring for others with both clinical expertise and a deep human touch. For more than 20 years, she dedicated her career to the field of cardiac nursing at Riverside Hospital in Newport News Virginia. Her work extended beyond the hospital walls; she was known to volunteer at Colony Friends Church in Virginia and Pleasant View Church in Clinton, TN. Reva also loved being a military wife, traveling, meeting new people and experiencing new adventures. Her hobbies included gardening, reading and caring for her dogs. Her kindness and wisdom enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Reva is preceded in death by her late husband of 49 years Emert McCoy and late husband Earl Rush, as well as brothers LD Tidwell and Bobby Tidwell. She is survived by her 3 children Emert McCoy Jr and wife Dale, Ann Hicks and husband Steve and Anita Norton and husband Bruce, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Lillie Rhoads of Texas and Geneva Goodman and husband James and brother Glen Tidwell of TN.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday August 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary.

Bonnie Louise Purkey

Bonnie Louise Purkey, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at her home in Clinton, TN. Bonnie was born on November 4, 1943, to the late Fred and Ola Mae Jones. Bonnie was one in a million, she was a loving wife, mom and mamaw and she loved fishing and quilting.

Along with her parents Bonnie is preceded in death by her brothers Fred Jr. Jones and Tommy Jones, sister Ima Jean Dossett, grandson Steven Austin Rice and great grandson Leonardo Ray Allen. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 66 years Ralph Purkey of Clinton, son Archie Purkey of Clinton, daughters; Vandilee Allen of Clinton, and Amanda Love of Clinton. Brother Billy Joe Jones and wife Faye of Rocky Top, sisters Ruth Allen of Georgia, Ruby Andrews of Clinton, TN., and Loretta Jones of Clinton, along with 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday August 16, 2025, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. The family will meet at Jones Mortuary on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. to go in procession to Beech Grove Cemetery in Rocky Top, TN. for a graveside service with Tony McAfee officiating.

Louise died Tuesday, August, 12th, 2025, at the Fort Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her daughters, Donna Grace Poore, Sounal Gail Berry and grandson William David Berry II. Parents, Gracie Phillips and Clais Roysden; brother, Doug Phillips; sister, Maggie Sieber. Two sons and a daughter in law, Leon Poore Jr. (Gloria) Poore and Robert Poore all of Knoxville; one daughter, Linda Wills of Clinton. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren, Debora (Paul) Wilson of Lake City, Gabrielle (Chris) Land of Clinton, Sylvia Sharp (Shawn Gribble) of Clinton. Richard Leon (Mercy) Poore, Phillip Wayne (Kayla) Poore, and Andrew Ray Poore of Knoxville. Taybra Stephanie and Jace Brandon Tyler Poore, Beth Mincey (Rodney Parrott) of Clinton, Daniel Mincey of Clinton. 15 great-grandchildren, Lanita (Jeremiah) Johnston, Celeste Schaal, Xan Ridenour, Teiarrah Land, Dalton Land, Nevaeh Mincey, Brayln Mincey, Bentley Sharp, Mckenzie Sharp, Lukas Sharp, and 5 Gribble kids, too many to list; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 9 great-great grandchildren, Ethan Poore, Hayden Poore, Cheyenne Stemeye, Lilly Johnston, Tegan Johnston, Nico Harrison-Poore, Ada Ridenour, Kasetyn and Lakeleigh Welch and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends, too many to list.

Keith Alan Case

Keith Alan Case, age 63, passed away on Wednesday August 6, 2025 in Powell, TN. Keith was born in Allentown Pennsylvania on February 2, 1962, to the late Melvin Ray Case and Patricia Case Parsons.

Keith was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Keith enjoyed playing golf and spending time with family.

Keith is survived by his brother Melvin Case, sister Audra White and husband Randy, nieces and nephew Miranda White, Kenzie White, Stephanie Piske and Kyle Case.

Liam Sexton

Liam Sexton, beloved infant son of Kaitlyn and Gabriel Sexton of Rocky Top, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Liam was so loved and although he spent only a moment in our arms, he is forever in our hearts. In addition to his parents, Liam is survived by grandparents, Johnathon and Kristi Durand and Jerry and Patti Sexton and Jordan Durand; great grandparents, Kathy and Eddie Justice and Barbara Sexton; aunt, Kaidence Durand and uncles, Sam Sexton and Kolton Wilburn and Aunt Kynnedi Wilburn. He was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Rosie S Miller

Rosie S. Miller, age 95, of Clinton, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday July 29, 2025, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Rosie was born in Anderson County, TN, on March 25, 1930, to the late Rudolph and Una Rucker.

Rosie was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church where she loved the Lord, and attending Bible study. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening, crafts, making clothes, fishing, talking with friends and helping others.

Along with her parents, Rosie is preceded in death by her husband George Patterson Miller, stepson George Donald Miller, sister Laonie Price, and brother Oakly Rucker. She is survived by son Woodrow Thomas Miller and wife Traci Dente Miller of Clinton, TN, stepdaughter Sharon Miller, sister Pearl Linkes of Knoxville, TN. Grandchildren Caleb Thomas Miller, Camyrn Rece Miller and Jason Miller.

The family will gather at Walker’s Cemetery, 469 Ridge Road, Sharps Chapel, TN, 37866 on August 2, 2025, at 11:00am for a graveside service.

Donna Gail Lowe

Donna Lowe, age 51, of Clinton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, in her hometown, surrounded by love. Born on February 7, 1974, Donna was the daughter of Naomi Boley and the late James Donald Lowe. She grew up in Clinton, where she quickly became a standout softball player for Clinton. Her passion for the game carried throughout her life, and many still remember her fierce love for the sport. Donna attended Clinton School and later became a familiar, friendly face at Git N Go, where she worked for many years. Her work there was more than just a job — it was a place where she connected with the community, shared laughter, and brightened days. Donna’s heart was always with her family. She was a proud and devoted mother to her 3 children: Megan Lowe, Kimberly Lowe, and Heather Armes; all of Clinton TN. Her greatest joy came from loving and caring for them, and her pride only grew as she welcomed grandchildren into her life — each one cherished deeply. Donna will be remembered for her kind spirit, her strength, and the deep love she gave to her family and friends. She had a way of making others feel seen and appreciated, and her presence was one of warmth and resilience. Donna took her trip to the sky with a smile on her face and no pain in her heart. She is preceded in death by her brothers; Terry Lowe, Matt Hillard and James Lowe and Sister Sue Goodman.

In addition to her 3 children, 16 grandchildren, and mother, Donna is survived by brothers, Dennis Hillard, LeRoy Lowe, and Curtis Lowe; sisters, Arlene Armes and husband Robert, Amanda Seiber, Marie "ReRe" Echnoz, and Victoria Wallace and husband Ronnie; aunts, Avon Knox, Aileene Pyles and husband Claude, Brenda Pyles, Rosie Cherry and husband Bobby, Louise Hill and husband Woody, several nieces, nephews and numerous relatives and friends.

Donna's family will receive friends and family on Friday August 1, 2025, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. With the memorial service starting at 7:00 pm In the chapel at Jones Mortuary; Rev. Marty Stooksberry officiating.
