Amanda Elizabeth Green

With heavy hearts full of love and faith, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Amanda Elizabeth Barnes-(Davis), who entered into the presence of the Lord on December 22nd 2025 at 11:59am. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we rejoice knowing she has been made whole and now rests in eternal peace. She was a woman of unwavering strength, deep faith, and a love so vast it knew no limits. She never met a stranger—only souls she had yet to love. Her heart was open, her arms were welcoming, and her spirit was generous beyond measure. She loved loudly, fiercely, and selflessly, giving of herself without expectation or condition.A true fighter, she faced life with stubborn determination and unbreakable courage. Battling Multiple Sclerosis, lupus, and countless other medical conditions, she refused to let illness define her or dim her light. She fought tooth and nail—not just for herself, but for her family and everyone she loved—pushing forward with grace, grit, and faith. Even in pain, she stood strong. Even in hardship, she chose love. She never complained, never asked for more, and never let the weight of her struggles steal her joy or her purpose. She was more than a mother—she was a community mother. Many knew her as “Momma,” not by chance, but because she loved them as her own. She nurtured, protected, prayed for, and poured into others with a pure and golden soul. She carried the burdens of others with tenderness and gave comfort freely, often putting herself last. Her life was a living testimony of Christ’s love humble, giving, faithful, and full of light. She was an inspiration to all who knew her, a guiding light in dark times, and a reminder of what it means to live selflessly. Though she deserved so much more from this world, she never asked for anything—only to love and be there for others.Amanda was preceded in death by Zelma Elizabeth Davis (Grandmother), and is survived by Darlene Warwick (mother), Scotty Warwick (brother), Larry Mashburn (fiancée), Sarah Kay Barnes-Cox (daughter), Brittany Barnes (daughter), Alyssa Taylor Mayes (daughter by love), Gracie Cox (Grand-daughter), Everly Cox (Grand-daughter), and Jordan cox (son-in-law).She leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, compassion, and unconditional love. Her spirit lives on in every life she touched, every heart she warmed, and every soul that called her Mama.“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7Though we mourn her earthly absence, we celebrate her heavenly reward and the beautiful, selfless life she lived.
