We had a spook-tacular time last week as Presbyterian College students joined our residents for some Halloween games and laughter. We are so grateful for our wonderful friends at PC and the time we spend together!

Fall creativity is in full swing at ! Residents enjoyed a festive pumpkin decorating craft session and are now voting for their favorite pumpkins in the staff pumpkin decorating contest. The contest is still ongoing — with so many amazing pumpkins, the suspense is growing.

Our wonderful residents from made a special visit to M. S. Bailey Child Development Center to celebrate Grandparents' Day in the sweetest way — by reading to the children!
The joy on both the residents’ and children’s faces said it all - a beautiful reminder that reading connects us across generations and opens up worlds of possibility. A big thank you to M. S. Bailey Child Development Center for welcoming us, and to our residents for sharing their time, warmth, and wisdom.

“A Picture That’s Worth 1,000 Words”
has launched resident life story presentations. Recently when Gwen's life story was presented, one of our residents Roy, who attended the presentation, realized that he was Gwen's childhood pastor in Florida!
They sat together and enjoyed reminiscing on those days in Florida. ❤️

Our talented residents had a wonderful time at this week's Sip & Paint. With brushes in one hand and a glass in the other, everyone created a one-of-a-kind fall door hanger. We are "falling" for these fabulous creations!

residents geared up to welcome the fall season by creating some stunning fall centerpieces during a special craft class. Residents even hand-delivered some of the arrangements as special gifts to friends and those unable to attend. It is moments like this that are filled with joy and connection that make life at our community so special.

residents and staff enjoyed having the beach at their fingertips during a stunning seashell collection display and presentation. The shells and sea items have been collected over the years by Jo Nell Black and Jennifer Baldwin Tummons. Several residents also shared their collections and sea shell stories to help create a truly special event inspired by the sea. 🐚 🏖️
