Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina is a group of Life Plan Communities serving nearly 1,000 residents on six campuses in South Carolina. Whether because of an exceptionally long life, unanticipated medical need, or other financial event, there are residents who, after an extended time in residence and through no fault of their own, need financial assistance to continue meeting their financial obligations. Each year, your gifts to the Mother’s Day Offering through your congregation or online at giving.prescommunities.org provide approximately $1 million in charitable care support for our residents needing assistance. Chef Mark explained to residents and staff how to make a Boston Cream Pie Cookie during his monthly cooking class. When he asked, "Did you like it?," he held up a plate with crumbs and said, "I think this says it all." It was certainly a favorite and a sweet time by all!

Clinton Community residents enjoyed getting their hands in the soil, planting colorful blooms, and giving each raised garden bed a refreshing drink of water during last week's Earth Day project. It is amazing how something so simple can create such beauty!

Since 1954, SC Presbyterian congregations have received an offering each Mother’s Day to support charitable care for residents of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina who, after an extended time in residence and through no fault of their own, need financial assistance to continue meeting their financial obligations.
