Food & Environmental Allergies are ANNOYING, I KNOW !!!!
When you're struggling with food, chemical, environmental +/or histamine issues, it doesn’t just cause you uncomfortable symptoms, but also affects your daily health & happiness.

Beyond the symptoms, it's straining on your relationships, impacting your career and causing you to miss out on the people and experiences that make life worth living.

The feeling of anxiety when you eat a meal, not knowing whether it's going to trigger a flare-up which can throw you out for days, or having to obsessively check ingredient lists to avoid your triggers is just EXHAUSTING!

Also, this stress and anxiety can actually make your symptoms worse!

The relationship between the stress hormones cortisol, adrenaline, epinephrine and histamine is why so many people develop food intolerances during a stressful period. Dr. Christine Garvey, DC explains this to patients every day when someone suddenly develops an allergy to their favorite foods or environments.

If you’ve thought to yourself, ā€œI can’t go on feeling this way foreverā€ - you’re RIGHT. It’s too much physical-chemical stress on the body- a hormonal soup- remember these affect the entire endocrine system.

Don’t settle for a life that isn’t 100% what you want. Take a proactive approach to dealing with your stressors by booking in your FREE phone consultation now!

Book your no pressure call with Dr Garvey as she is trying to help others not suffer another moment like she did for multiple decades! šŸ™šŸ»šŸ¤—ā¤ļøšŸ’•

Eczema naturally addressed Allergy Breakthrough Center for the entire family even babies.

WHAT CAUSES ECZEMA?
Eczema is a multi-factorial condition, which is characterised by flare ups in symptoms in response to individual triggers. Those who struggle with eczema, and other allergic conditions, often have above average levels of IgE, which can make you more susceptible to developing reactions. This is known as ā€œatopyā€.
Common food triggers include:– sugars– Gluten & wheat– Dairy– Amines found in many aged foods, like cheese– yeast– Salicylates a natural chemical in many fruits & vegetables)– Histamine
Common airborne triggers include:– Dust & dust mites– Mold– Animal Dander – Pollen- especially during spring time– Grass
Common chemical triggers include:– personal care products– laundry detergents– cleaning products– chlorine

NATURAL ECZEMA TREATMENT

The prevalence of allergic conditions have increased dramatically in recent years, due to the impacts our modern lifestyles have on our bodies and our immune system.
We see lots of children and adults struggling with eczema symptoms in our clinics, who are frustrated by the lack of medical treatment options.
Many reach out to us as they are sick of going through endless tubes of various creams and following elimination diets which simply aren’t sustainable long-term.
With Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT) we’re able to offer a natural eczema treatment option, as part of a holistic approach to help reduce the frequency and severity of eczema symptoms and flare-ups.

AAT is used to help alleviate the symptoms associated with allergies, sensitivities and intolerances.
We use a form of muscle testing (kinesiology) to assess your reactions to various food, airborne and chemical substances to help pinpoint your individual triggers.
We then use a chiropractic tool, called an Arthrostim, to gently stimulate acupressure points and nerve bundles down either side of your spine, while you’re holding a sample vial of the substance (e.g. dust mites).
This helps to re-train your body to no longer react negatively to the substance and relieve the associated symptoms.

Did you know that September is Mold Awareness Month? As we are in the moldy season of fall and winter let’s learn a little about mold.

The goal is to inform, educate, and raise awareness about the adverse health effects due to exposure to indoor molds and mycotoxins.

Mold issues are a growing concern and have to be taken very seriously. Symptoms can be widespread, chronic, and often challenging to treat.

Fortunately, there are also some great options to help you overcome mold illness and even mold allergies abs sensitivities.

So, let’s start with the basics…what is mold?

Mold is a type of fungi.

There are over 100,000 mold species that have been identified (sheesh, that’s a lot!)

Mold can grow and thrive under a variety of conditions. It especially loves any warm, damp, and moist areas.

Some species of mold particularly love growing in an indoor environment - hiding in your bathroom, behind wallpaper, under carpeting, in crawl spaces, in damp basements, or in the kitchen.
Completely escaping mold is impossible. However, reducing your mold exposure and treating potential mold toxicity is more important, and is possible!

While mold does have some benefits - think soy sauce, some cheeses, and medicines/antibiotics, it can also cause serious health issues.
So why exactly is mold a problem?
Well, mold produces mycotoxins - toxic compounds that are produced by certain types of fungi, and the root cause behind most mold-related issues.
Mold creates mycotoxins to compete against other molds.

One of the major issues with mycotoxins is that they can spread far and wide very quickly. A small damp spot in the corner of your bathtub allows mold to grow and like a match to dry tinder, the mold’s microscopic spores and mycotoxins can spread. Before you know it, you may have a mold problem all over your bathroom or other areas of your home, despite starting with one minimal issue.

The fact that mold mycotoxins are so tiny that you can’t even see them is even more alarming. Mycotoxins move through your indoor air without your awareness. You can breathe them in unknowingly, ending up with a myriad of health issues including becoming allergic to it. So not only are we exposed to it, but then we become hypersensitive to the smallest amount of it!
Mold and fungi mycotoxin exposure may lead to:
~ Allergy or hypersensitivity (IgE, IgG) reactions
~ Increased susceptibility to infections, like Lyme disease
~ Mycotoxicoses or mycotoxin illness
~ Alimentary toxic aleukia
~ Environmental enteropathy
~ Environmentally acquired illness
~ Chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS)
~ Systemic fungal infections
~ Mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS)
~ And many other health issues!

Allergy Breakthrough Center we test your body to see if there’s mycotoxins actually in your body driving symptoms & acute or chronic illness. We all test to see if you’ve become allergic or super sensitive to the smallest amounts.

Mold is an outdoor allergen but can also be in our homes!!!šŸ
Outdoor molds are at their peak right now and into the fall.
Mold thrives on moist conditions and decaying matter.
With summer rains, heat, and humidity outdoor molds thrive at this time of year.
In the fall, damp falling leaves and still humid conditions will also cause a steady level of mold growth and spore release.
Indoor molds can also be high in the summertime.
Mold likes moisture and warmer temperatures.
While air conditioning will suppress mold by lowering the humidity and warmth of a building, homes might be more susceptible than other structures to indoor mold growth even with air conditioning because of maintenance, filtering, failure, or mold growth in the unit or in a dehumidifier.

If we get exposure to a mold source once then it is unlikely to trigger a mold allergy, but repeated exposure is potentially likely to cause an allergy to develop.
It often takes less repeated exposures than you might think to create a mold allergy, depending upon a person’s genetics, type of mold, and intensity of exposure.
Indoor mold exposure in particular can trigger mold allergies and worsen the effects of asthma and other lung conditions, and merely the visible presence of dampness or mold in the home can correlate to symptoms:

ā€œSeveral ECRHS studies have shown that visible indoor mold or dampness assessed by questionnaires were associated with increased prevalence of asthma symptoms, diagnosed asthma, and bronchial hyper-responsiveness.
In particular, indoor mold exposure in asthmatics has a severe impact on respiratory symptoms, i.e., exacerbation and aggravation.ā€ (Kespohl, et al, Allergol Select. 2022; 6)

Allergy Breakthrough Center Dr. Christine Garvey, DC checks for mold spores in the body and we determine if there are symptoms associated with any possible mold allergy as well!!! šŸ™ŒšŸ™Œļæ¼
