Join PCN at Autism Advocacy and Acceptance Day on the Hill

PCN will join community partners for the 16th annual Autism Advocacy and Acceptance Day on the Hill, standing alongside our members in support of advocacy, acceptance, and inclusion with Autism Society of Iowa.

Members are encouraged and invited to attend with us. This is a meaningful opportunity to show up, be heard, and take part in shaping conversations that impact the autism community across Iowa.

Participants will gather in the rotunda for a rally, hear lived-experience stories, receive advocacy training, connect with resource partners, and meet with legislators.

Schedule
• 8:00 a.m. – Registration
• 9:00 a.m. – Rally
• 10:30 a.m. – Photo on the steps
• 10:45 a.m. – Advocacy Training

🎉 One Year, Worth Celebrating 🎉

In December, Melissa celebrated one year of living with her Host Home Provider — a meaningful milestone marked by growth, stability, and shared experiences. 💜

To commemorate the occasion, Melissa and her provider enjoyed a special dinner at Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano, sharing great food, big smiles, and a well-earned moment of celebration.

Host Home relationships go beyond housing — they’re about connection, independence, and building a life filled with meaningful moments. Melissa’s first year highlights what’s possible when care and compassion lead the way. ✨
