Hello everyone,
This is a hardest post I have ever had to make but here I go.
I have had my hand forced to make a decision I never wanted to make.
At the end of the month, New Moon Divination LLC will be closing its doors for the last time after over 6 years.
There are some factors that I cannot change as they are out of my control. I hate doing this and I will miss all of you so very much. I will still be doing readings online, over the phone and in person. My Facebook and Tik Tok will stay up and running as a way to get ahold of me. I am working on some ideas for things we can get together and do. Just keep your eyes open.
We have a great sale going on so you can get some great deals on anything you might have had your eye on. Just not the cats, they will be going home with me to have a 24-hour home that WILL stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer and dry inside all year round. Who knows, now they might have time to start making posts themselves in order to stay in touch with their fans. I know they will miss you all too. I just hope they do not get bored with me or torture the dogs too much.
So please come in and say hi, because it is all of you that have helped build this store into what it is. I definitely did not do it all by myself. I cannot tell you how much this is hurting me to do, so if you come in and I am crying, don't take it personal. I have already been doing a lot of that in the process of having to make this decision. I am sure I will be doing a lot more of it, as I am while making this post.
Just know this is not goodbye, just a, until next time.
I do not have a for sure date yet, just that I turn the keys in on April 1st. I want a chance for you to all come in and get things while you can. As we get farther into the month, I will let you know when our last day will be. Most of what is in the store will be for sale front and back, so if you have always liked something, come on in. Need a coffee maker, microwave, or fridge, they are for sale too.
I am going to be selfish and ask something of you, if you would be so kind. As kind of a memory book for me, could you all leave your favorite memory or favorite thing about New Moon either on here or message it to me. I might put a notebook out at the shop as well. I think it might help me get through the months and years following this knowing that New Moon helped at least 1 person or was a place that somebody enjoyed. That I served some kind of purpose while I was here.
I opened this shop with the idea of helping people, giving people a safe space to say or be who they are with no judgement. A place to learn or practice things that may be outside the norm. To become a staple of the town and the people around it. Hoping that people might see that people who like rocks and talk to things most people can't see, are just people. Not scary, not trying to hex everyone, just people trying to live life the best they can like most everyone else.
I was never in it to make a fortune as I want people to be able to have things or learn things that help them or so they can learn things to help others.
I apologize that I cannot keep doing that the same way anymore and feel that is my biggest failure. I know how much people need that and I hope they can find it elsewhere.
I will say that this has been a personal journey as well. You all have helped me learn so much about so many things as well as about myself. You have helped me grow so much and showed me how amazingly kind people can be and that is something I will never forget.
