Meet Dr. John Erickson, MD! (Board Certified Family Medicine)

Dr. Erickson attended Medical School at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Oral Roberts University.

Dr. Erickson believes in excellent and compassionate care of the whole person, body, mind, and spirit. He has been married for 42 years and has five children and seven grandchildren. His five children live in five different states so there is a lot of traveling to see family. In addition to spending time with family, Dr. Erickson enjoys running, reading, camping, and hiking.

Meet George Gonzalez, MD!!
(Board Certified Family Medicine)

Medical School: UCLA School of Medicine
Residency: UC Davis Contra Costa County Hospital

Dr. Gonzalez believes in caring for the whole person. He strives for excellence by providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

He is fluent in Spanish and English.

He’s been married for over 30 years and has four adult children. During his free time, he takes frequent domestic and international mission trips. He also enjoys running, playing golf, and tennis.

Every year during Medicare Open Enroolment there’s always a shift of Medicare Advantage plans available to those 65 or older. For 2026 Peachwood will not be contracted with Aetna individual Medicare Advantage plans as they are moving out of the Fresno area.

If you are currently a FUSD retiree your group Aetna Medicare plan IS NOT affected. There has been some misinformation recently posted on social media stating FUSD retirees, come 2026, could no longer be treated at Peachwood. This IS NOT THE CASE.

Should you have any questions with regards to Medicare Advantage plans please reach out to our office for the correct information. We apologize for any confusion this caused.
