Destiny Bible College begins its Certified Christian Counselor Spring II 2024 Semester on May 20, 2024. Certificate can be earned in 10 weeks,
Cost: Certification classes are $250.00 each. However, if you pay for all five classes at one time, a 20% discount is given...$999.00 would be the total price.
Class Dates and Times:
Fast Track Online Program - Each class meets four times: Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm (CST) (M, T, M, T equals one class). and Thursday and Friday from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm (Th, F, Th, F equals one class).
Since 1999, we have been active in developing and teaching a comprehensive, professional level program of Christian Counseling for ministers, counselors, and laypeople. The courses are designed to equip one to identify and minister to the needs of individuals in the church and the community-at-large from a competent, faith-based, Christian perspective.
DBC’s foundation is Biblical and our curriculum is dedicated to the belief that the Bible provides the final authoritative guide for a relationship with God and other persons.
We believe that the Bible alone is sufficient to meet all of man’s needs “that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue….”
Our faculty consists of ministers, counselors, and teachers with diversified degrees, credentials, and backgrounds. Our course materials are extensive and detailed, yet user friendly and solution focused. Beginning with the basics and progressing into more advanced levels you learn to handle more complicated and/or difficult issues - all from a Biblical perspective.
We are dedicated to providing Christian counselor training programs that are in strict accordance with Biblical principles and standards that will meet the needs of all people spiritually, emotionally, therapeutically, and educationally.
What makes our Christian Counseling/Psychology program unique is that we offer live, virtual classes which allows students to learn and practice the skills necessary for competent and compassionate Christian counseling. While one can learn theology and doctrine from reading books and watching videos, it is almost impossible to learn counseling this way. No two people are the same so there is no “cookie cutter” formulae for teaching counseling. Christian counseling is more than merely quoting scripture and giving general “advice” to people who are lost, hurting, and seeking real answers. Knowing the difference between symptoms, surface causes, and root causes is essential to genuine and successful Christian counseling. Understanding the spiritual dimension of behavior goes beyond mere “put off and put on” counseling. Our program provides the foundational knowledge, tools, and skill training necessary for effective counseling.
