With Halloween around the corner, we are getting prepared for our annual Trunk Or Treat. What better way to take donations than to have a "Monster" box?! So from now till then, we will be accepting candy donations for our local event that our residents love to attend! They adore all the kiddos, and they love seeing their costumes! What a great tradition for Clyde Nursing Center. If you would like to donate, please stop by and feed our "Monster" some candy! We look forward to seeing everyone for Halloween!

Shirley Gilmore turned 77 years old on September 29th!
With the whole family visiting Shirley was so happy and excited on this occasion. Thank you Sherry and your beautiful family for making this possible! These pictures really show the happiness they all share! Thank you for letting Clyde Nursing Center be apart of your celebration!

Every Monday and Tuesday, our ladies line up for their favorite activity—fresh nails! With endless color choices, jewels, and a little extra bling, there’s something for everyone.

The best part? Watching our ladies show off their new nails with pride. 💖 The only tough decision left… what color to pick next?

September Birthdays 🎉
This month was filled with celebrations at Clyde Nursing Center! We were thrilled to honor four of our amazing leaders—Chris (Administrator), Jennifer (Activity Director), John (DON), and Anthony (Dietary Manager)—all with September birthdays.

We shared one big cake, sang one big birthday song, and made sure each of them felt appreciated and celebrated. At Clyde, we love honoring our team and making every moment special.

Baking Class – September
Our residents were full of anticipation, wondering what delicious treat we would be making this month. The answer? Cinnamon rolls topped with rich cream cheese icing! 🥮✨ The sweet smell filled the room, and they turned out absolutely perfect.

While we waited for the rolls to bake, everyone enjoyed a little extra indulgence with chocolate-covered strawberries—the perfect pairing! 🍓🍫

It was such a fun and tasty afternoon together. Now the big question is… what will we bake up in October? 🎃👩‍🍳

Meet Leo Green!
This week we had the joy of celebrating Leo’s 67th Birthday! 🥳🎂
Leo has been part of our Clyde Nursing Center family for the past two years. He is a kind, well-kept gentleman with a fascinating story to share. Leo is the proud father of six children and spent his career as a crop plane pilot—a job that took skill and courage!
These days, you can often see Leo showing off his great driving skills as he navigates the halls in his mobile wheelchair—pretty impressive to watch! 🚗✨
Happy Birthday, Leo! We’re so glad to celebrate you and all that makes you special. 💙

We enjoyed celebrating our Environmental Service Team last week!

National Rise Crispy Day!
We love celebrating national days, it keeps us active and full of ideas.
For this activity, we had three different choices of Rice Crispy Treats. Chocolate, Original and Strawberry. We had a lot of different opinions on which one was better. We enjoyed this get-together!
