Just what is a final expense policy?
So often I hear people say that they have no reason to preplan their burial or cremation because they have a final expense life insurance policy. In the majority of cases, these people never put into consideration that burial and cremation costs will increase over time. This results in their loved one's having to come up with the shortfall. Preplanning locks in today's cost forever. Am I saying to get rid of your life policy and just preplan? Absolutely not! You see, when a person dies, in most cases so does one of the incomes leaving the spouse financially short when this tragic event happens. Not to mention, there are usually bills of the deceased that has to be met. So, if you are one that believes their policy will be enough, not only will you leave your loved one with the balance of your funeral to pay, but you also leave them with other financial burdens. Preplanning should be included in your financial portfolio because it is a huge portion in your estate. You have an opportunity right now to make a difference in the lives of your family. However, this opportunity is worthless without action. Procrastination hurts everyone. Call me today for your consultation! 419-547-0213
