I've had some people interested in buying tshirts so I am going to put in an order for Toy Box OT tshirts and tank tops for summer. If you would like to order please let me know what sizes and colors by next Friday (June 5th).

Unisex Tshirts will be $12.26 for youth sizes - adult XL, $2.50 upcharge for 2XL and $3.50 upcharge for 3XL. Color options for tshirts are graphite heather (gray) or jade (light green). Men's and Women's tank tops are $12.65 for youth-adult XL, upcharge for 2-3XL. Color options for tanks are light gray, dark gray, or neon green. Attached are pics of Jennie wearing the graphite heather and jade tshirts, she is wearing a medium for reference. You can pay via venmo, cash, or check. I am looking for another helper for hippotherapy activities! Responsibilities: helping to maintain a safe therapy environment while supporting clients through side-walking during sessions. Responsibilities may also include assisting with grooming/tacking up horses before and after sessions. Must be able to walk at various speeds over various terrain. The position is available to those 16 years and older. Clearances required. Horse experience not required, but must be comfortable working around horses. Training is provided. $15/hour, 1099 position. This is a part-time (1-2 hours per week), seasonal (April – November) position. Help is currently needed Wednesday evenings, Thursday evenings, and Friday mornings. Located just outside of Clymer, PA.

The third time's the charm!

This up-and-coming cowboy braved the wet, cold weather to spend time with Kiwi. It's his third time working with her and we finally got smiles today! Using an equine in occupational therapy sessions addresses more than just physical skills. Being put in new situations in a therapeutic environment can also address self-regulation and executive functioning skills like cognitive flexibility which were in play in today's session.

Kiwi got back into the swing of things today with her first OT/hippotherapy session of the year.

We are excited to announce that the 2nd round of Applications are now being accepted until January 15th. The SWITCHED team at SFU will review the applications and plan to have the toys ready for you to pick up by the end of January!

'Tis the season of ice, snow, and frozen manure. Some of us are surviving and some of us (the ponies) are thriving.The horses have been enjoying the extra hay, temporary additions to their pasture, and all love that comes with caring for them in the winter. We are so thankful the weather held off long enough (for the most part) to finish out the hippotherapy season. We ended the season with Halloween and Fall fun, and family members got to experience the movement and input that a horse provides during hippotherapy activities! I (Jennie) wish I would have grabbed more pictures of everything this year, but that just leaves room for improvement for 2026! We've moved to indoor OT activities for the winter which include feeding therapy activities (check out the fun pictures!)
