Some pickup swaps this weekend on these Sterling Music Man Sting Ray's! The cream color one is getting a Seymour Duncan Sentient Neck Pickup and a Seymour Duncan Invader at the Bridge. The all black one is getting the Seymour Duncan Sentient in the neck pickup and the Nazgûl at the bridge. ♥️♠️

Got another Ltd Eclipse in for a proper set up! Tightened up the killswitch and all the pots and replaced a missing k**b! Also fixed a stripped strap button with a toothpick and wood glue. I'd say it's ready to rip the stage again! ♥️♠️

If you're a Periphery fan then you know what this bass is! Giving the Dingwall Adam "Nolly" Getgood 5 string bass a proper setup! I also dig the battery cavity with a magnet cover for easy access to change batteries out! Super smart and it just makes sense for it being an active pickup setup! Really great bass to work on! ♥️♠️

Had a friend that got a guitar for free and wanted it to be studio worthy to record. So it needed new tuners for tuning stability, neck adjustment and hydration. Glued the nut back on since it wasn't even glued down at all. Polished the frets since they were so tarnished and rusty looking. Cleaned the electronics with contact spray so there is no static on the pots when turned. And finally gave it a nice cleaning to get the dirt and grime from sitting. It was nice to bring this thing back life! ♦️♣️♥️♠️

Was able to set up this Martin acoustic that had crazy high action due to the bridge saddle not properly seated and neck needed to be adjusted. Whenever you change strings make sure the bridge saddle is seated correctly, or the whole guitar will be out of whack and you might think that all you need to do is check the neck relief. There's alot of factors for an acoustic guitar that could be out of place and hard for you to play. ♥️♠️

Today we have a Godin 5th Ave Kingpin II in for a proper setup and cleaning! First time dealing with a guitars intonation with a bridge that isn't mounted by pins or screws. But double sided tape will help keep it in place semi permanently without drilling or ruining the guitar body. That way it will be easier to keep it in the same place when doing future string changes. ♥️♠️

On the bench today was a Kiesel Crescent 7 string! If Kiesel made a guitar for Darth Vader, this is definitely it! The guitar needed its fret sprout fixed and also a setup. Not sure if you can see, but the finish on the neck was bubbling up from the fret sprout itself. Fret sprout happens when the wood dries out and wood shrinks and when it does, it causes the frets to poke through the edges of the fretboard and can be uncomfortable when we play or possibly cut you if it's severe. Always hydrate your fretboard on a string change with fretboard oil. Not only does it clean the gunk off from your grummy hands but keeps the fret sprout from coming back saving you money on fretboard work. Til next time! Keep on playing kids! ♥️♠️
