Looking forward to some great music and good food this Thursday night at our third and final concert of the 2025 Summer Concert Series.

Just a reminder that the Parks and Recreation team will be collecting food donations at the concert (for the Octorara Food Cupboard) and all of the Parks and Rec events that are coming up (Touch-a-Truck, Flea Market and Park It. Fall Festival/Cornhole Tournament, and Trunk or Treat). Please drop off any donations at the Parks and Rec table! Thank You!

The following food items are needed, but no donation will be refused:
pasta sauce, pasta, chunky soup, hamburger helper, tuna helper, pancake mix, pancake syrup, condiments-mayo, ketchup, mustard, salad dressing, oatmeal.

The raffle baskets are assembled and ready for Saturday's Family Fun Fest at EFT Township Park, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Save the Date!

The second annual Touch-a-Truck event will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 1 PM. The Touch-a-Truck event is guaranteed to fascinate and amaze residents, young and old, as you get a unique peek behind the wheel of vehicles that you see all around our Township! Talk to their owners. Ask questions! Sit behind the wheel! Photo ops galore!

We are actively seeking any truck owners or businesses that would like to be a part of this year's event. No truck is too small or too large! Please email or PM me at tad411@comcast.net or Robin Burdick, our event chairperson, with any questions or to express interest in showcasing your business or your truck!

One of the core values of the EFT Parks and Recreation team is to promote the quality of life, health, and well-being of our residents. We also strive to strengthen community bonds through our township events.

Rising food prices, cuts in funding, and reduced resources exacerbate the strain on local food cupboards, which provide much-needed support to families. Please help the EFT Parks and Recreation team deliver staples to the Octorara Food Cupboard by bringing a food donation to the concerts and park events.
The food donation box will be located at the Parks and Recreation table at the Thursday night concert featuring The Big House Band. They are known throughout the Philadelphia area as high-energy entertainers with a wide range of popular songs sure to please everyone. Enjoy dinner too! The fun begins at 5:30 PM, so stop by the Parks table and meet some of the P&R team!

What a great time celebrating an early 4th of July at today's Star-spangled Bike and Pet Parade! Kudos to Parks and Rec members Joyce Madding and Jenn Wright, event coordinators. Sending a special thanks to Chief Osborn (and wife, Nicole Osborn who beautifully decorated his bike) and Officer McAllister, Westwood Fire Company, Modena Fire Company, Kona Ice, Paintings on People, the Mainliners a capella performers, Grace Hayden and her EFT Scout Troop, Supervisors Kat DiRado and Al Wright, and especially ALL THE RESIDENTS, young and old(er) and pups who came out to celebrate!
