Meet Our Next Guest Bartender

We’re excited to announce that Amber Turner, Executive Director of 2nd Century Alliance, will be joining The Alliance for Health Equity behind the bar at Locust Lane Craft Brewery on Wednesday, September 10 from 5–8 PM.

Amber leads efforts to revitalize and strengthen Coatesville’s downtown and business community — and for one night, she’ll be serving drinks to support health and wellness across Greater Coatesville.

Interested in leading a workshop at the 2025 AHE Impact Summit on Oct. 21?

We are seeking local leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community members to join us for an Information Session on Wednesday, September 4, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (via Teams) to learn how you can apply to host a workshop at this year’s Summit on October 21 at the Coatesville Country Club.

Workshops are designed to be:
- Dynamic and action-oriented
- Aligned with one or more Social Determinants of Health
- Crafted to inform, engage, and inspire community members, partners, and stakeholders

We’ll share workshop guidelines, tips for creating an engaging session, and details on the application process. Selected presenters will receive a $250 honorarium in recognition of their time and expertise.

Coatesville, you showed up.

We're still excited that you came to the Wellness and Welcome Block Party, Open House, and Ribbon Cutting to officially welcome Union Community Care, our new Federally Qualified Health Center, to Coatesville.

Over hundreds of neighbors, partners, and friends joined us for a day full of celebration and community pride:
- Live DJ keeping the energy high all day
- Kid Zone with inflatables, face painting, bracelet-making, and games
- Outdoor fun including co****le and mini putt-putt
- Guided tours of Union’s brand-new space
- Official ribbon cutting ceremony
- Cooling station for a refreshing break
- Giveaways, community resources, and more

Special Shout out to The Butter Pecan Cafe, Uncle Johns BBQ, Richies Water Ice, and PA American Water for bringing delicious food and water to the Block Party.
