Georgette Freund and her husband donated a bell so that other cancer patients who finish their rounds of chemotherapy at our hospital can celebrate the end of their treatments by sounding the bell.

"My hats off to the entire healthcare team - all the doctors, nurses, certified nursing assistants, housekeepers, dietary staff and everyone in between. You were absolutely wonderful," Gigi said.

"Bassett's Childbirth Express class was an extremely great resource for any soon-to-be parents. It gave us a very strong sense of what to expect leading up to giving birth, the process of giving birth, what to expect once we are home with the baby, as well as the support and resources that exists at Bassett." Mark and Angela Nader

"My husband and I attended the childbirth class offered by Bassett and we are so glad we did!"

"The class was very informative and helped us feel more confident and prepared for the labor and delivery of our daughter...I referenced the handouts several times in the last two months of my pregnancy and we brought the information to the hospital to use during labor. We will definitely recommend this class to friends and family." Valerie, Ryan, and Kathryn

Who We Are

Cobleskill Regional Hospital (CRH) is Schoharie County’s only hospital providing a 25-bed acute inpatient medical care, emergency care, short-stay inpatient rehabilitation, and many other diagnostic and therapeutic services. We are a proud subsidiary of the Bassett Healthcare Network.

CRH offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services, including an emergency department staffed around-the-clock by highly qualified physicians, inpatient care for medical conditions, outpatient surgery, short-stay inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitative services (including physical therapy), open MRI and state-of-the-art medical imaging, comprehensive laboratory services, a Sleep Disorder Center, and approximately 20 specialty services in areas such as cardiology, women’s health, orthopedics, and more.

Our team of nearly 235 dedicated and skilled professionals, who do their best to make a difference each and every day, have said that CRH is “big hospital medicine with a small hospital feel.” Our community is also a great place to live and work - with good schools, affordable housing, and friendly neighbors. We offer all the best of small-town America, yet we are still within the Capital District; it's just a short trip to the malls and it's a commute without traffic jams.

CRH is truly the best of both worlds for patients and staff alike: Bassett Healthcare Network is nationally recognized, and our affiliation contributes to our ability to remain a strong, local hospital.
