We are excited to celebrate Bleckley Memorial Hospital’s participation in the Kids Alliance for Better Care (KidsABC) with a ribbon cutting at our emergency department on Saturday, October 25 at 1:30 p.m. Through KidsABC support, we have been able to purchase child-friendly medical equipment for our ED, take part in educational programs, and enhance care for kids right here in Bleckley County. We are honored to be recognized by KidsABC, a collaboration between Mercer University School of Medicine and its Georgia Rural Health Innovation Center, with support from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. We invite the community to join all of us in this celebration. Kids will enjoy our free Fall Festival event 2-4 PM!

So today we said see ya later to Teresa Fletcher. She officially retired today, after 46+years at Bleckley Memorial Hospital! We are so happy for her, but we will miss seeing her everyday! She has held many titles over the years here at BMH. Always where ever she was needed. We had a celebration earlier this month to honor her. More pics to come
