Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter 1 had a great dinner tonight and presented a plaque in appreciation to Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill for supporting our cause for many years!

Thank you to the management, ownership, and incredible staff for all you have done to assist our cause. If you’re looking for one of the most outstanding places in Florida to enjoy a great dinner, beverages, incredible sports on approximately 40 TVs, wave goodbye to cruise ships or watch rockets launch, this is the place. Many employees are veterans including our server tonight, 25 years in the US Marines. Thank you for your service tonight and to the US military.

Thank you Mike, Rich (USCG Veteran) for all you do to help us.  Please remember we have over 80,000 Missing in Action US military service members since World War I including my relative, Lieutenant Wallace P. Currie, who took off over Italy on 22 January 44 and never returned(pictured).

Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter 1 just had many members at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center get a group photo around our brand new granite POW/MIA chair we have purchased and installed. 

This was dedicated last Friday, on the national POW/MIA day. Now we’re off to Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill to present them with a very nice plaque in appreciation of all they’ve done to support our group.

Anyone can join RTFL1.com Our POW/MIA advocacy group remembers this country’s 80,000+ missing in action troops! We es**rt veteran funerals, give scholarships and help veterans. We post the POW/MIA flag leading the nation at all 82 Brevard public schools. 

We are the largest chapter in Florida, and approximately third in the nation in size with our 100+ members. We meet on the fourth Sunday at 2 PM at the Veterans Memorial Center. Come join us for 40 bucks a year you stay, “I want to know what’s happened to our 80,000 missing US service members!“ we are an extremely patriotic group.

Notice to Health Care Providers Regarding Misinformation About Abortions in Florida
This Provider Alert is being issued to address misinformation currently being spread concerning Florida’s abortion laws. The law is clear: abortion is permissible at any stage of pregnancy in Florida to save the life and health of the mother. Abortion is also available when the pregnancy results from r**e, in**st, or human trafficking, or has a fatal fetal abnormality.

Section 390.0111(1), Florida Statutes, currently lists express exceptions that allow for an abortion at any point in pregnancy to save the pregnant woman’s life or avert a serious risk of substantial and irreversible physical impairment of a major bodily function. These exceptions allow treatment, including abortions, for women who experience premature rupture of membranes (PROM), ectopic, or molar pregnancies, and as such, physicians in Florida are expected to follow standards of care regarding the most appropriate course of action in these situations. Exceptions also exist up to 15 weeks for pregnancies resulting from r**e, in**st, or human trafficking.

Health care facilities and providers must be aware that a physician providing life-saving treatment for pregnant women does not violate Florida law and that failure to do so may constitute malpractice. Additionally, a miscarriage is not an abortion. Section 390.011(1), Florida Statutes, defines “abortion” to mean the termination of human pregnancy with an intention other than to produce a live birth or to remove a dead fetus. A miscarriage does not produce a live birth.

Providers are reminded that Florida requires life-saving medical care to a mother without delay when necessary, and the Florida Department of Health and the Agency for Health Care Administration will take regulatory action when a provider fails to follow this standard of care.

The pirate raids have begun! Doctor Armstrong and his fellow pirates have taken it upon themselves to raid and try local businesses in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area and want you to know all about them!

The first place the Cocoa Beach Minutemen have tried is new to the area. Canaveral Ice Cream and Coffee Company, located at 8501 Astronaut Blvd, has over 44 flavors of hand-dipped ice cream, 30+ coffee drinks, açai bowls, smoothies, pastries and more, as well as dairy free options. The company is locally owned, has indoor and outdoor seating, lots of parking, and you can order online for pickup and delivery!
Hours are 8AM-9PM Sunday-Thursday & 8AM-10PM Friday-Saturday
Doctor Armstrong and his fellow raiders loved the options here and hope you all take the time to try them as well!

The American Flag given for George Artz Navy service, not available for his funeral, will be folded and presented to the Artz family Saturday at 9:30 AM. This allows family and all employees who were not able to make the funeral to experience this short and solemn event. The family has allowed this posting for all that knew him, and wish to observe it. Thank you.
