Color Matching! A great way to accessorize and create a unique yet functional look.

💙The line art frame came with accents of blue! To make a statement look we added a custom 💙blue tint to give the lenses a pop of color and a fashion forward look. 💙We kept the 💙blue tint lighter to be useful for all day wear.

Tinted lenses are making a comeback and can be useful for color enhancing as well as softening brightness for light sensitive eyes.

We used the patients own frame and added Progressive- Transition Xtra- active 💚Green💚 lenses and finished off with a green flash 💚mirror 💚on the front of the lens and no- glare on the backside. Completely customized for our patients vibrant style.

Why❓She wanted this pair to also be used as a sunglass option. As seen in the last photo- when the lenses change, a green mirror finish is present!

PeaceLove Foundation is an organization that promotes mental wellness by using creativity and expression to inspire, heal, and communicate. PeaceLove began when cousins Matt Kaplan and Jeff Sparr wanted to change the way they saw people approaching mental health. They wanted to create a space that encouraged creativity, self expression, and storytelling.

Why you need an accurate PD measurment-

Pupillary Distance (often shortened to PD) is the measurement in millimeters between the centers of your pupils.

It’s a key measurement in optics and eyewear because it helps ensure that the lenses in your glasses are positioned correctly in front of your eyes. When lenses are made, the optical center of each lens must align with your pupils so that you can see comfortably and clearly.

🔹 Types of PD:
• Binocular PD: The total distance from one pupil center to the other.
• Monocular PD: The distance from the center of the nose bridge to each pupil (used more often in progressive, bifocal, or specialty lenses).

🔹 Why it matters:
• If the PD is off, you may experience eye strain, headaches, double vision, or blurry vision.
• Accurate PD is especially important for higher prescriptions and progressive lenses and for your best vision results.

The image below shows you the difference of monocular and binocular and can cause vision issues like headaches, lack of clarity and delays in adapting to new eyeglasses if not measured and recorded properly.
