🧘 The Daily Thrive: Sixty Second Reset

When your day feels rushed or your mind feels scattered, a short pause can make a meaningful difference. Try this simple one-minute practice to help your nervous system settle and refocus your attention in the present moment.

Mini practice:
• Inhale gently through your nose for a count of four, then hold for two.
• Exhale slowly for a count of six, then hold for two.
• Repeat this cycle four times.

As you move through each breath, pay attention to your shoulders, your jaw, and the space around your ribs. Notice whether anything begins to soften. These small resets, practiced with consistency, can strengthen your resilience and create more steadiness throughout your day.

Sometimes the holidays make us feel a lot like a Christmas tree— trying to stand tall, look put together, and shine… even when we’re a little crooked, a little tired, or losing a few ornaments along the way. 🎄💛

Here in Brevard, life doesn’t slow down just because the lights go up.
Kids, work, family, emotions, expectations—it’s a lot.

So if you’re feeling a bit “tilted,” you’re in good company. We all do.

Let yourself sparkle when you can.
Let yourself fall over if you need to.
Let others help you back up.
And don’t forget to bring a little joy to someone else— it tends to boomerang right back.
