KINDNESS WEEK IS HERE! 2/15 - 2/21/2026.

Every year The Random Act of Kindness foundation encourage others to take time, to focus on kindness and how they can dive deeper to spread RAKs within their community.

Random Acts of Kindness can improve mental health and well-being. Research has shown that performing acts of kindness can have a positive impact on mental health. By performing acts of kindness, one can reduce stress, anxiety and depression.

Lifetime Counseling Center’s Thrive Within Campaign will be sharing ways to spread kindness each day this week. Our team knows that every small act of kindness can have a ripple effect, inspiring others to be kind.

Like, Follow & Share to Spread Kindness.

Parents are under more stress than ever — and it matters.

The U.S. Surgeon General’s Parents Under Pressure advisory highlights rising stress levels among parents, the impact on mental health, and why supporting caregivers is essential for healthy families and communities. Nearly half of parents report feeling completely overwhelmed on most days, compared to far fewer adults without children . The report calls for stronger community, workplace, and mental health supports to protect both parents and kids .

We recently had the opportunity to lead a self-care–focused training at the Women of the Space Coast event on January 15, and the experience was both energizing and meaningful. This session went beyond self-care as a buzzword, focusing on practical, realistic strategies that support mental and emotional well-being in everyday life.

The conversation, engagement, and openness in the room were incredible, and it was clear how much participants valued taking time to invest in themselves. Learning how to care for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s essential, and it helps you show up stronger for the people who rely on you.

This short clip offers a glimpse into the impactful moments shared during the training.

🏈Game day is almost here! 🏈

This Sunday, enjoy the food, the friends, the commercials, and every exciting moment of the Big Game — but make sure your game plan includes a safe ride home.

If you’re celebrating, don’t fumble at the finish line. Call an Uber, grab a rideshare, or choose a sober driver before the kickoff. Because the only thing that should be “lit” this weekend is your team’s scoreboard.

Have fun, be smart, and get home safely.

Rest is not a luxury — it’s a necessity 💚

No matter how full your schedule feels, giving yourself permission to pause can restore your energy, improve your mood, and help you show up as your best self.

This weekend, take a moment to breathe, unplug, and care for you.

We just hosted our Little Learners, Big Behaviors training on January 19, and it was an impactful day of learning, reflection, and meaningful conversation. Designed specifically for those working with children, this training focused on understanding behavior through a trauma-informed lens, supporting emotional regulation, and responding to children’s needs with empathy and confidence.

The engagement throughout the session was incredible, and participants walked away with practical strategies they can apply immediately to support healthy growth and well-being in their classrooms and care settings.
This video offers a glimpse into the thoughtful discussions and hands-on learning that made this training so meaningful.
