🍂✨ Fall Reset: Time to Let Go & Make Room for More! ✨🍂
This season always reminds me how beautiful it can be to let things fall away. 🍁
Many of the women I’ve worked with have released old habits that no longer served them — and what opened up in their place is incredible:

A couple of years ago I injured both of my Achilles tendons. It took a lot of rest and rehab. I didn't know if walking tours, like this one in Italy, would ever be something I could do again. But I did the work, was gentle with myself, and this year my pilgrimage dreams came true.

12 miles up and down hills, on uneven 2000 year old Roman Roads, and we are still smiling!

How did we do it? Lots of training, and elevating our feet at the end of a magical day!

What did I learn? Italy is one giant mountain range HAHA

Roman Roads, and all other uneven surfaces, are great for strengthening your feet and ankles.

Pro Tip - train in more than one kind of shoe. bring different shoes and switch it up!

🎤 Finding My Voice in a Room Full of Unapologetic Truth

At a lecture, I met a teacher who was irreverent, scholarly, and real. He practiced yoga like he had nothing to prove—and that changed me.

I began unlearning:
🚫 Who I thought I was “supposed” to be.
🚫 What I thought yoga was.
🚫 How I thought healing had to look.

This is when I started to integrate yogic philosophy into modern life—into parenting, into relationships, into how I show up in the world.

And it’s when I realized: I don’t need to be good at yoga. I need to be me.

After 12 years of savasana, meditations, and nervous system resets… it happened.

I was in a guided meditation with a thick Spanish accent. For the first time ever:
🙅 I didn’t count the seconds.
🙅‍♀️ I didn’t beg for it to be over.
✨ I simply let go.

I didn’t become someone else—I became more me. I became someone who could finally rest. Who could choose where to place her energy.

This is why I do what I do. Because this freedom is available to everyone.

I remember fidgeting through school assemblies as a kid, unable to sit still or comfortably on the floor.

Yoga changed that. Slowly at first—then powerfully.

In my 30s, when I was running and active, I started practicing a lot. The result?

I could sit in stillness for hours. Cross-legged. Comfortable. Grounded.

🌬️ My First Deep Breath Changed Everything

Before this moment, I had been breathing—but I hadn’t taken a breath.

Years of chest tightness, diaphragm pain, even physical therapy… and one day, after consistent yoga practice, I inhaled deeply… on my own.

That breath changed my nervous system. It gave me:
💆‍♀️ Relief
🧠 Calm
❤️ Connection

This moment gave me access to a whole new version of myself: A better friend. A more grounded parent. A fully present human being.

👣 No More Foot Pain. No More Orthotics. No More Ugly Shoes. 🙌

After seeing what yoga did for my back, I asked my teacher about my feet—despite every specialist saying “nothing could be done.”

Her response? “You can try to strengthen the muscles.”

That tiny bit of hope changed everything.

Now I know:
1️⃣ The experts aren’t always right.
2️⃣ Strong feet = strong foundation = strong life.

You can absolutely strengthen your feet—and it will change the way you move through the world.
