Speak My Passion

Speak My Passion Life Coaching and Shamanic Healing with Shannon M Plummer
www.msha.ke/shannonplummer What is Your Passion?

Do you live your passion and create the reality you wish to experience every day? Or do you keep it hidden and treat it like a distant idea or long-lost memory? I believe we are all here to live our greatest purpose and serve a higher consciousness. Your gifts may be raising a family, developing a new eco-friendly product, healing with your intuitive techniques, designing a sustainable community, or sharing your inspirational art. The world needs you to fully embrace your passion and let it loose! That passion, fully expressed, will have a greater impact on your personal growth and the vibes that resonate out to everyone around you. Are you deliberately and intentionally creating your future? Or do you get stuck in old patterns and self-written stories that hold you back from your truth? I believe your passion goes way beyond your job or the work you do. Your purpose is to integrate all the aspects of your life to fully experience your dream reality. When you tap deeply into your passion and align your thoughts and beliefs with your desires, you will open to unlimited possibilities and opportunities that are waiting for you. Are you ready to shift your consciousness and SPEAK YOUR PASSION? I am here to guide you through a process of realization. I want you to Real-Eye-z your divine appointment and help ignite your passionate spark with clearly aligned vision and strategic action. To speak my passion: I graciously allow my human experience to deepen my spiritual quest for understanding and eternal truth; I passionately live with commitment and dedication to serve as an instrument of joy, peace, and purpose; I lovingly share my innate, intuitive, and evolving gifts to guide others to their highest good with conscious minds and open hearts; I humbly accept and acknowledge life’s opportunities and challenges to create a better experience for myself and for all those I share a breath with in this life and beyond.

Many of you might have seen that I started a channel on a writing platform called Substack. Partly to get comfortable sharing my writing on a social platform rather than just in-person. Partly to show a publisher that I can build an audience. Partly to get over myself, as I will share much more intimate personal stories in my book. (Nothing like drafting a book manuscript to work through your own s**t! 🤣) That said, I've been pulling some poems, creative prompt writing, and contemplative messages with Bob's music from the archives to share every week. Followers can share feedback and comments, which is what Substack was originally intended to be... a creative's online co-op, if you will.

I asked Madilyn Bullock-Behlke if I could share her quote because it speaks to why I believe any creative art is a necessary part of society and why I believe we should all support those things that inspire us. Creatives create to share their experiences in their own unique package. I believe that feedback is critical to build the character of the creative and all should always be welcome. Being willing to put yourself out in the world is a spiritual test and ongoing spiritual lesson in and of itself. Finding an audience who can connect to your gift -- in their own unique way -- is the highest compliment. Sometimes, it is rainbows and unicorns. Sometimes, it is indecisive or has nothing to do with your original intention. Sometimes, it is triggering. All are the same from the creative end, as each serves a purpose that reminds the creative to get clear within themselves and continue to mirror the good, bad, and neutral for others in the hopes to find clarity within themselves.

Every creation has an audience, regardless if it is 1 person or 100,000 people. I believe the search to find those creative "partners" is what connects us to each other, inspires us to connect with each other, and reminds us that we are truly in this crazy life adventure with each other.

I hope you take the time to tell your creative inspiration (internal and external) how much they mean to you. Whether their gift inspires you to elaborate on your own or whether their gift inspires you to not be anything like them, they have done their job, accomplished their mission, affirmed their purpose, and connected with another human being.

We always say that our next retreat starts as soon as we schedule it. For 2025's, I believe we already chose the theme and had a rough outline within 3 days of returning home from our 2024 experience! For the 12 people who already registered for 2025, their retreat started when they said "yes" because commitment is energy and energy can't help but flow where we intentionally direct it. Without direction, it doesn't know what to do!

If you are on the fence about anything, the best thing to do is make a decision. That doesn't mean that you can't change your mind, but a decision removes the mumbles and jumbles of indecision. Both "yes" and "no" create energy. "Yes" claims commitment and "no" makes room for another opportunity to enter (or a fresh perspective on the same opportunity). "Maybe" initially supports possibility, but staying on the fence of what is possible too long creates stagnancy and confusion.

Whether you are considering our retreat or have another life decision to make - as significant or insignificant as it may appear - magic happens when we move from "maybe" to a definitive answer that we believe (at least in this moment) best supports our self.

Every person is creative. Whether it be through paintings, songs, landscapes, lesson plans, gardens, furniture, interior designs, mosaic floors, traffic patterns. Yet do we listen to the call and allow something to birth from us? Do we allow ourselves to be vulnerable enough for the world to see a piece of us within themselves, their homes, their pets, their friends, their communities? Do we say “yes” all the time, when creativity is asking for our attention?

I don’t know the answers to those questions for you. I do know that, since I was a child, writing has always been one of my creative outlets. My 8th grade English teacher, Denise Howard, saw that and encouraged me to explore it beyond the standard classroom assignments. I think of her often in my creative journeys. Honestly, I did not always make time to write as adult responsibilities took over and deceived my priorities. Yet I have learned that my writing is a direct extension of me. It heals my soul.

As I am months away from that mid-century point of my life, I want to share some of my writing creations with the hope that it might incite something in you. Something that bridges both the humanity and divinity of myself with both the humanity and divinity of you. Something that might poke and prod at your inner creative that has something to “say”.

Why does this anthology — that someone else dreamed and brought into the world — mean enough to me to announce to the world?

Because the other 42 women who provided pieces in the collection have a lifetime of experiences that inspired their creativity. And they all said “yes”, just like I did. That is something to celebrate. That is something to support. That is something to be proud to be part of. That is something that motivates my continued unfolding. That is something that keeps me drafting my own book.

I have no idea what other pieces are within Unfolding. But I am excited to find out, and honored to be one part of the whole.

A huge congratulations to my writing facilitator, Lisa Kinney Colburn, for publishing this work of art. Thank you seems trite, yet necessary. Lisa is an incredible writing coach, editor, and inspiration to always look toward what is possible. Please check out her website Market Street Writers... and consider ordering the book!

I am so thrilled and humbled to be included in one of the 43 writers in this anthology. Lisa Kinney Colburn is a glorious writing facilitator, who runs supportive and empowering workshops and classes for every kind of writer through Market Street Writers. Her dedication to help women find and express their writer's voice is, not only inspiring to the writer but also reinforcing to anyone who witnesses the outpouring of love and encouragement that comes through Lisa as a writing coach. I know a few of the women who provided pieces for the anthology and I AM SO EXCITED for that published copy in my hand so I can connect with their expressions on the pages. Keep your eyes out for more details...
