Tips on how to clean your blinds.

Regular cleaning of your blinds is super easy. Simply dust your blinds often with a microfiber cloth or a Swiffer hand duster.

Start at the top and work your way to the bottom making sure to dust each blind.

If for whatever reason your blinds get wet this keeps them from getting those horrible dirt spots.

A vacuum can also work well on most blinds though I wouldn’t use it on vinyl mini blinds as they break pretty easily. Make sure you use the upholstery attachment to avoid damaging your blinds.

Como limpiar muebles de Tela con bicarbonato.

Ingredientes:

1 cucharada de Bicarbonato de sodio
1 cucharadita de Jabón lavatrastes
1 litro de Agua templada

Procedimiento:

1. MEZCLA todos los ingredientes.
2. HUMEDECE una esponja con la mezcla.
3. FROTA en las zonas de la tapicería manchada procurado no exceder en empapar la zona.
4. LIMPIA con un trapo seco que no deje pelusa.
5. DEJA secar.

Remove rust in 5 minutes.

Materials:
All you need is a bottle of coke and a scrunched up piece of tinfoil.

1. Pour the Coke
Pour the coke all over the pan. There is some chemical reaction that quickly gets the rust off. This is mostly surface rust, so you can wipe it off after a few minutes. For deeper rust you have to let it sit for longer.

3. Scrub with Foil
The coke loosens all the rust, and the foil takes it off. With just a few scrubs all the rust comes off.

4. Rinse Your Pan
Just rinse the coke and rust off your pan.
All clean. Instant rust remover.

Make your stainless sink look like new with Flour.

What You’ll Need:
-Kitchen cleaner OR hot soapy water
-Kitchen towel
-Flour
-Paper towel OR soft rag

Instructions
1. Wash the sink thoroughly: Clean the sink with a spray kitchen cleaner or hot soapy water.
2. Dry the sink: Buff the sink dry with a clean towel. Do not skip this step! It sounds silly, but any water left in your sink will instantly turn the flour into goo and things will not end well. Don’t forget the sides of the sink and the top of the drain.
3. Sprinkle the sink with flour: Sprinkle your sink with a thick dusting of flour. (Yes, this will feel intrinsically wrong. You can do half the sink at a time if you feel extra uneasy about it!)
4. Buff the flour: Using a paper towel or soft cloth, buff the flour into the sink like you are waxing a car. Keep buffing and don’t forget the drain, rim around the top of the sink, handles, k***s, and little grooves where dirt likes to hide. You’ll see bits of food start to disappear and things begin to get shiny.

Tips on How to Clean Your Shower Drain with Boiling Water.

Hair and soap scum comprise most drain clogs. Luckily for us, soap breaks down under hot water. Take advantage of this by pouring boiling water down the clogged shower drain.

The hot water often dislodges the clog and sends it down the pipes. Before trying this method, make sure that your shower drainpipe is metal, as cleaning drains with boiling water can damage PVC pipe.

Before you begin, make sure that you can lift the pot and pour the water without difficulty; you don’t want to drop a big container of boiling water! Remove the drain cover. If you have a funnel, place it in the drain.

Pour the water in a controlled, steady stream. If the water backs up, allow it to sit until it drains, and then resume pouring. This is how to unclog a drain with standing water.

This method is a solid first step, as it requires no harsh chemicals to clear the clog. Boiling water as a cleaning solution can take a bit of time, so be patient and give the water a chance to work before trying a stronger solution.
