We are excited to announce 2 big changes at our Clinic. Dr. Lindsey Bellamy, board certified pediatrician, will be joining us!

Dr. Bellamy's Bio:
Lindsey Bellamy, DO grew up in Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. She graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed pediatric residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Bellamy is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She enjoys fostering long-term relationships with patients and families. Dr. Bellamy enjoys spending time with her husband and three young daughters.

Also, we are open again on Fridays for both Regular and Sick appointments!

Exciting Changes at our Clinic:
It has Been an interesting and challenging year Since the departure of Dr. Treece, But we have some very exciting news to share!

First and foremost, We are pleased to announce Laurie Hipwell, PNP, will be seeing patients at our office in Cody!
Laurie brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the well-being of children. She has been in Cody for the last eight years. She is still seeing inpatients at the hospital at Cody Regional Health; She is accepting new patients. As she is covering the Hospital and deliveries, Hours will be by appointment as we adjust to the new schedule.

More developments:

Kathleen Howard, a very experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Lactation Counselor ( CLC and ILBC ), will be joining us! (Bio to follow in a separate post)

We will again be open on Fridays, starting in November

Greetings
We just wanted to share a few updates. With the departure of Dr. Treece, we are working hard to eliminate logistical difficulties and apologize if there are any inconveniences.

A significant issue we are running into is with the renewal of medications, especially controlled medications ( such as ADHD medications), please make sure your pharmacy marks Dr. Sidor if you need a renewal, as Dr. Treece’s prescriptions are no longer coming through to our system, and it has led to some delays in medication. Electronic Renewal through the pharmacy is the quickest; all electronic renewals are completed multiple times per day. Please request from your pharmacy meds at least 3 days prior to need.

We are still looking for a new provider; we hope to have expanded availability soon.

Letter From Dr. Treece

To all of my patients and their families at Big Horn Basin Children’s Clinic,

I am very thankful for the privilege to care for your children for the past several years. I will be leaving this practice, however, in order to be closer to my parents as they age. I will be here until August 4th.

I will be leaving my patients in good hands with Dr. Peter Sidor. We will be adding additional providers to help as well.

Telehealth appointments now available!

We are able to offer you an opportunity to connect with Big Horn Basin Children’s Clinic through our telehealth program. Telehealth practice uses live or real time video and sound to connect you with Dr. Treece from your home using a computer, tablet or phone.

The telehealth appointment is as private as if you were seen in the office. We use secure software to connect to the doctor. Telehealth will help us coordinate your child’s care. We will be able to talk about diagnosis and treatment plans together.
