Wyoming Services for Independent Living is a registered non-profit human services agency established to help individuals with a disability to live as independently as possible in the community of his or her choice. WSIL is a Consumer Controlled Agency; The majority of our staff and board members have personal experience with a disability. Independent Living Centers also serve advocates on a wide range of national, state and local issues. We work to ensure access to all aspects of life, such as: housing, employment, transportation, recreational, health care, and social opportunities. Independent Living Centers are typically non-residential, private, non-profit, consumer-controlled, community-based organizations providing services and advocacy by and for individuals with all types of disabilities. Our goal is to assist individuals with disabilities to achieve their maximum potential and open doors for personal growth that were once considered to be closed.

WSIL (Wyoming Services for Independent Living) is seeking a full time Medicaid Waiver Case Manager for our Rock Springs Office.
This position involves working with individuals with a disability to increase their independence through the development, implementation and monitoring of individual plans of care. Knowledge of local resources, the ability to coordinate with other resources and strong time management/organization skills are essential. The positions require travel to meet with clients in their homes.
A degree in a social services related field and work experience providing social services is required.

Public Notice for Operating
Assistance/Capital Assistance

This is to notify all interested parties that Wyoming Services for Independent Living is applying for funding through operating assistance and/or capital assistance in the total estimated cost of $447,800 (federal and local) under the Wyoming Department of Transportation's operating and/or capital transit grant programs.

The operating/capital assistance grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and/or State Public Transit funding and is administered by the Wyoming Department of Transportation. This application includes a request for operating and/or capital expenses associated with providing public transportation within Big Horn, Fremont, Hot Springs, Lincoln, Park, Sublette, Sweetwater, Teton, Uinta, Washakie Counties, as well as the Wind River Indian Reservation.

If requested, a public hearing will be scheduled, along with a notice indicating
the location, date, and time of the public hearing.

Wyoming Services for Independent Living seeks applicants for a full-time Case Manager position in our Rock Springs office.

The position involves working with persons with a disability to develop and monitor plans of care through Medicaid to allow that individual to continue living safely in their own home.

The position is based out of our Rock Springs office and requires out of office travel to meet with clients in their homes.

An Associate’s degree, or higher, in a social services or related field is required; along with prior experience in Case Management.

The position is based out of a Home Office and requires travel to meet with clients in Lincoln, Sublette and Teton Counties.

An Associates degree, or higher, and prior experience working in a social services related field is preferred, but not required.
