Today, on International Persons with Disabilities Day, we want to take a moment to honor the incredible individuals who make our community stronger, wiser, and more compassionate.We care deeply about creating an environment where every person feels seen, respected, and empowered. Whether it’s through accommodations, understanding individual challenges, or simply showing up with kindness, we are committed to doing our part.

This week we celebrate our Direct Service Professionals. Chrysalis is blessed with the most amazing team of professionals!

Each day you show professionalism, kindness, caring, expectations and love for the friends that we serve. You bring joy, flexibility and laughter to each day! You do all this while teaching and providing therapies and developing curriculum that benefits everyone at their level.

You are the most terrific group of Gumby's that I have ever seen!

Thank you to Andrew, Bertha, Brian, Jeff, Karen G, Linda, Maddi, Rene, Rue and Sarah! You are the best!

(Thank you also to Carla, Crystal, Dave and Vanessa - we miss you!)

Though they are not Direct Service Professionals, everyone at Chrysalis jumps in where needed so I can't end the post without a thank you to Karen H, Lexy, Paula and Rosanne.
