One year in Idaho…

Crazy how much life can change in such a short period of time.

When I got here I really didn’t know what was in store for me. No job, no friends, no family, nothing.

However; life has a way of leading you to the right people and right places if you’re determined enough to find them.

It’s not until you throw yourself into the fire that you find out what you’re truly capable of. Big risks grant the biggest rewards.

One unexpected thing I love about living in a small town/less populated area is that you cross paths with people you know often, making nurturing your relationships feel almost feels effortless.

This could be a negative if you’re an introvert or a trouble maker; but for me has quickly become one of my favorite aspects of living here.

A few weeks ago I was stranded in a remote area after my boat was experiencing motor troubles, Nepthali & Cierra were camping nearby and helped pull me 2+ miles back to safety.

Today I ran into them randomly at another remote campsite on a different lake and spent the whole evening sharing together.

I don’t think I’ll live in a big city ever again. More connections does not necessarily mean better ones. A few quality far outweighs greater quantity.
