Spero Naturopathic Medicine Dr. Mia Grothman Helena, NMD Welcome to Spero Naturopathic Medicine. Health and healing is a journey, and it is my privilege to walk through it with you.

Spero Naturopathic is inspired by family, by a fierce conviction that medicine should be driven by education, empowerment and partnered decision making with your provider, by a desire to live passionately and in connection to our values and in trust that our bodies have an innate ability to heal. Alternative medicine runs through my entire life. It is my honor to continue a legacy of healing started by my dad, Dr. Timothy Grothman (1953-2021). The motto on our Grothman family crest is "Dum Spiro Spero." While I breathe, I hope. Hope and an attitude of positivity in health, and in life, is powerful and immeasurable. Despite life's difficulties and obstacles, it is my joy to offer care and join my patients in hope. -Dr. Mia
