Today marks one year since the passing of Dr. Brian Snyders.
Today, we pause to remember a man who meant so much to so many.
Brian, alongside his wife Maren, poured his heart and soul into building more than just a clinic—he created a place where patients receive exceptional care and where employees truly want to come to work. Prairie Family Medicine is special. From its cozy, cabin-like feel to the warm smiles that greet you at the door, it has never been just another medical office. Here, you are known as a person—not a number.
Brian built a culture rooted in compassion, connection, and family. A place where providers care deeply about the whole person—both physically and mentally. A place where employees support one another through life’s biggest moments. So many of us have what we lovingly call “Prairie babies”—celebrated with baby showers, shared meals, and nurseries created with care. That kind of love is rare, and it started with Brian and Maren
His impact reached far beyond our clinic walls. Whether he was volunteering at local motocross events, traveling to Uganda for mission work, or caring for patients at all hours—even on weekends—Brian gave endlessly of himself. He had a gift for seeing what others might miss, for finding answers when no one else could, and for always going above and beyond for every patient who walked through the door.
The foundation he built is still felt every day—it’s in the walls of Prairie Family Medicine, in the way we care for our patients, and in the way we care for each other.
We miss you deeply, Brian. And we are forever grateful for the lives you touched, including our own.
If you have a memory of Brian or a story about how he impacted your life, we would love for you to share it in the comments. 💙
