Patient Notice – Phone System Update

Given the news about ongoing contract negotiations between Kootenai Health and Regence Blue Shield, Prairie Family Medicine wants to reassure our community that we remain a committed partner with Regence and continue to provide accessible, high-quality family care.

Prairie Family Medicine will stay contracted and in-network with Regence Blue Shield, ensuring that Regence-covered patients can continue to receive care at our clinic.

As a trusted family care provider, our priority is supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families throughout our community. We are hopeful that Regence and Kootenai Health will reach an agreement that benefits our entire region. In the meantime, Prairie Family Medicine remains fully available to deliver the compassionate, continuous care our community depends on.

If you have Regence BlueShield of Idaho health insurance, we want to inform you that Regence’s contract with Kootenai Health will be terminated effective January 1, 2026.
