That “Daycare” call no parent wants to see…

Low-grade fever. Sniffles. Hurt. Inconsolable. Daycare closed. They ask you to come pick up your child and suddenly you’re scrambling with no backup and no time off.

This is why I offer backup childcare and babysitting for the days that don’t go as planned.

🤒 Friendly reminder: 100.4°F or higher = should stay home.
To protect the health of all children and families I work with, I cannot provide childcare services for children who are experiencing contagious or infectious illnesses. In order to maintain a safe and healthy environment, I reserve the right to refuse care to any child who is exhibiting symptoms of a contagious or infectious illness, or who has been diagnosed with such an illness, until they are fully recovered and no longer contagious.

Keep me in mind or add me to your list of trusted backup care. Having a plan B brings a lot of peace of mind.

With My Noteworthy Nanny, I believe there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to learning and development. Every child is unique, with their own strengths, personality, and pace and they deserve care that honors that.

A supportive, patient, and inclusive environment helps children build confidence, feel safe to try new things, and truly understand what they’re learning without pressure or comparison.

🌠 Learning should never be rushed.
🌠 Every child deserves to feel capable and valued.
🌠 Inclusiveness means meeting children where they are.

In my in-home care, I focus on nurturing the whole child emotionally, socially, and developmentally so they can grow into confident little humans at their own pace. 🌱
