Volunteer Spotlight: Kristin Pitts

For more than a decade, Kristin Pitts has brought creativity, energy, and heart to her volunteer work with Kootenai Health Foundation. She has supported the Festival of Trees for 14 years and the Foundation’s Golf Tournament for 9, serving on the Executive Committees for both events.

Kristin plays a key role in shaping the experience of these events, lending her creative eye to silent auctions, décor, and centerpieces that help bring each fundraiser to life.

“I was born at Kootenai Health and raised in North Idaho, so staying active in this community means a lot to me,” Kristin shares. “I’m inspired by the kindness and generosity we see year after year and I love knowing our efforts are making a meaningful impact in the health of our community.”

We’re so grateful for Kristin’s creativity and long-standing dedication to supporting the Kootenai Health and the Foundation!

Volunteer Spotlight: Bob Yuditsky

With more than 20 years of volunteer leadership, Bob Yuditsky has made a lasting impact through his service with both Kootenai Health and the Kootenai Health Foundation. His involvement has included the Foundation’s Board of Directors, Finance Committee, Cardiac Steering Committee, and ongoing work with the Donor Relations Committee.

Bob also currently serves as a Director for the Kootenai Health Board, contributing to the Patient Safety & Experience and Finance Committees.

“I am inspired by the quality and consistency of leadership and the long-range vision that continues to meet the needs of a growing community. Watching that vision turn into real access to high-quality care close to home has been incredibly meaningful.”

After more than two decades of service, Bob remains driven by the people behind the mission. “The dedication of the medical staff, leadership, and employees makes this much more than a place to work. Strong healthcare strengthens our entire community, and I am proud to be part of that impact.”

We are incredibly grateful for Bob’s continued leadership and commitment to advancing care in our region.

We are proud to share that new signage has been installed at Kootenai Health's North Entrance and Trauma Center, funded entirely by donor dollars! 🏥

Kootenai Health is both an American College of Surgeons verified Level II Trauma Center and an Idaho Time Sensitive Emergencies designated Level II Trauma Center. This distinction reflects the strength of our multi-specialty team and our ability to provide comprehensive, around-the-clock care for injured patients across North Idaho and the surrounding region.

This signage project is a powerful example of how donor support visibly impacts patient care. Because of our community’s generosity, we can continue to invest in improvements that enhance access, safety, and the overall experience for those we serve.
