Did you know a quarter of college freshman drop out of school in their first year? The transition from high school to college and young adulthood independence is a challenging one. For persons with mental health needs or learning differences, the transition is even more difficult. Individuals become stuck, unmotivated, and struggle with getting back on track. At Northwest College Support, we provide a place for change and an experienced team of guides to come along side each young adult. Our educational-therapeutic transition programming helps young adults to live healthy, independent lives. With nearly two decades of experience in therapeutic settings, Juanita leads our clinical team. A certified Arbinger facilitator and Community Resiliency Model trainer, she's passionate about helping students — and the people around them — grow and thrive.
Fun fact: she spent three years as a whitewater river guide. She knows a thing or two about navigating rough waters. 🌊
