Had a fun lunch hour interviewing Post Falls High School Seniors at the Reverse Job Fair. This annual event has become a staple for graduating seniors in Post Falls, providing a unique opportunity to gain insights into their chosen career paths. Throughout the school year, approximately 300 high school seniors engage in an extensive project involving research and job shadowing in their respective fields of interest. The culmination of their efforts is showcased at the Reverse Job Fair, where community members are invited to interview the kids on their projects.

This year is going to give over $27,000 of college scholarships to the kids that excelled at their projects. All scholarship money was donated from local businesses and organizations.

You probably didn’t expect chickens to be part of the solution!

But for kids who’ve experienced trauma, learning how to care for something else can be the first step in learning how to care for themselves.

On the newest episode of the Better Together Podcast, Mike Baker sits down with Rosa Metler, Executive Director of Canopy Village, to talk about the creative, hands-on ways they’re helping kids heal, grow, and rebuild trust.

Episode is live now on all channels! Watch now at the link in our bio.

We’re excited to highlight Lindsey Anagnostopoulos, ARNP, one of the incredible preceptors guiding our NP residents!

Lindsey is a graduate of Seattle University's MSN program and Sea Mar CHC's Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. She has 10 years of experience in community health and comprehensive primary care, with a focus on patient education. Her clinical interests include women’s health and pediatrics, which led her to pursue training in colposcopy and autism spectrum disorder.

Her commitment to training advanced practice providers is clear. Lindsey served 7 years as a Site Director for an NP Residency Program, is currently a Lecturer at Gonzaga University, a Site Visitor for programs seeking accreditation, a Nexplanon Clinical Trainer, and a clinical preceptor for student practicums.
