Northern Idaho Crisis Center

Northern Idaho Crisis Center Our 24-hour center serves those in Idaho’s 10 northern counties, ages 18 and older who need help w The center is free, safe and private.

The Northern Idaho Crisis Center (NICC) is a 501(3) c Charitable Organization; that was created to help people who are having a mental health crisis or a drug or alcohol problem. NICC is a collaborative effort of Kootenai Health, Heritage Health, Health & Welfare, and Panhandle Health, to create a safe 24/7 facility for those in crisis. Staff can help facilitate outside resources for each individ

ual's needs. NICC can provide immediate food & shelter for up to 24 hours, but most individuals get assistance they need in less time. We are here to listen if you want to talk. Our lives are full of stressors-- both large and small--but, no matter the complexity, it helps to talk with someone. The NICC staff can help individuals experiencing a change in symptoms, life circumstances or substance abuse related changes. Those people seeking emergent medical care should still go to the Emergency Department. Contact us today at (208) 625-4884 or come to the Crisis Center at 2195 Ironwood Court, Suite D, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. We are open 24 hours a day.
