October is Pregnancy Loss Awareness Month. Every year we host this Vigil in honor of all of the babies who were lost far too soon. We welcome any and all families who have experienced infant or pregnancy loss to join us on October 11, 2025 in Post Falls, Idaho, for this night of remembrance.
This is a kid friendly event.
Snacks provided.
Our sunset vigil starts at 5:30 pm
Please follow the registration link in our bio to RSVP so we know how many snacks to provide. If you cannot join us but would like to add your baby's name to the hearts release ceremony, you can follow the link and provide that information as well.
We hope to see you there. ❤️

As I took my birth doula & bereavement training through the organization Stillbirthday, I realized that there are little to no resources in the community of Northern Idaho to help bereaved families. A part of the training was to thoroughly research the resources in our community and the support groups were lacking, as well as support for in hospital care. So it became my goal to begin providing these resources in the way of support groups, bereavement doula care, and building other resources in our community.
As a birth doula, it was important to me to learn how to support families who experienced EVERY outcome of birth and that is why I began bereavement training. But now that I see this great need in our community, I am creating Deep Waters Bereavement to begin this important work.
Key support roles that I hope to incorporate are:
Support Groups: Right now I am hosting one group per month. I will increase the frequency if I see an increasing number of attendees.
Bereavement Doula Care: As a bereavement doula, I can enter the hospital and attend to those families who are experiencing pregnancy loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, or other fetal demise diagnosis. As of now, there is no program in our community providing this. Bereavement doulas lend a side of support that is not currently here. We have been trained in grief, mourning, emotional, religious, and cultural variations in loss, and are equipped to walk through this loss with the families in our community. My MAIN goal for this non-profit is that I can provide these bereavement doula services FREE OF CHARGE to those experiencing loss.
As of now, I have filed my Articles of Incorporation for my Non-Profit status. As soon as that is approved, I will send in my 501(c)3 paperwork.
Please reach out to me if you are experiencing a loss, I can plug you into support groups, and have so many resources to link you in to. You are not alone.
