We went and checked out one of my favorite spots for ice fishing. Unfortunately due to this recent warm up it was not even accessible. The shoreline was all melted away. Most lakes in WI are lacking ice cover. The little ice we did have has quickly deteriorated. It just hasn't been cold enough. We need temperatures to be consistently at 20 degrees or lower for a good 5-10 days. Hopefully we will see this change within the next couple of weeks so we can get out there and ICE FISH. We are all ready to go!! Just need some ice!!!

Ice fishing is our passion! And the 2023/2024 ice fishing season is right around the corner. As we embrace the thrill of ice fishing, safety is our number 1 concern. It may look like a winter wonderland out there but ice conditions are not stable yet. But it’s coming! Our gear is set to go and we are ready! We are keeping an eye on the ice conditions and it won’t be long before local bodies of water are froze over! Here at L & C Guide Service we have professional guides ready to get you on the ice. We fish several area lakes based on ice conditions and we supply all the necessary equipment including, bait, tackle, rods n reels, tip ups, permanent heated shacks as well as portable. All you need is a WI fishing license and weather appropriate clothing. Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages, however, all day trips include a hot meal on the ice. If you love fishing for bluegills, crappies, perch, walleye, bass and pike then we got you covered. We can accommodate groups of 8 or single person trips. So give us a call and get in the books. THIS 1st WISCONSIN SNOWFALL HAS US EXCITED ABOUT ICE-FISHING!! We have knowledgeable, experienced , licensed fishing guides ready to take you on a exciting ice-fishing expedition. Ice-fishing is our passion. We fish several area lakes based on ice conditions and how the fishing is. We supply all the necessary equipment including bait, tackle, rods, reels, tip ups, permanent heated ice shacks as well as portable ice shacks. All you need is a valid WI fishing license and appropriate clothing. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. (***All day trips include a homemade, hot meal on the ice.) We fish for bluegill, crappie, walleye, perch, bass and pike. Ice-fishing is a fun winter sport that allows you to spend quality time with friends and family. And it’s for everyone, both 1st time ice anglers or experienced ice anglers. We are taking bookings from Dec 26- March 1st (depending on ice conditions )
