Led By Dani Locastro
If you find it hard to switch off, this class is for you!
We all need more rest - achieving this however, can be very challenging, especially if you find it hard to relax, fall asleep, or stay asleep. This Yoga for Deep Rest class aims to support your body in fully relaxing, allowing the mind and body to soften and the nervous system to settle.
This class is about letting go of physical and mental stress, and encouraging your sympathetic nervous system (fight, flight, freeze) to dial down and your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) to dial up - promoting balance and helping you to reset.
You will be guided into supportive asanas to relax the body, and then guided through a Yoga Nidra mediation, a special place of sleepless sleep where you listen to your internal pulse of just being, enhanced with essential oils.

5RHYTHMS Hudson Valley
with Guest Teacher Jeffery Boynton
Saturday, April 11th, 2026
5:00 - 6:30PM
$23
Second Saturday and last Saturday Every Month from 5pm - 6:30pm
As April blooms emerge onto the scene, so do some fantastic guest teachers onto our dance floor. This Saturday we welcome Jeffery Boynton who was birthed to the wilderness and is completely at home being lost. Jeffrey is rooted in a history of modern dance, dance theater and contact improvisation and discovered the practice of 5Rhythms during a chaotic transition to New York City in 2001.
Jeffery is a certified as a 5Rhythms teacher (2014) and he is a member of the 5Rhythms Teachers Association (5RTA). He holds a generous grounded space of gentle masculine presence for each of us to find our feet on the path of alignment between what we think, what we feel, and what we do. He knows this awareness grows from seeds planted in our embodied journey and takes shape when we give ourselves full loving attention to the Truth of how energy moves in our body, moment by moment. The gift of this awareness is increased personal and communal resilience, a vital resource in this age of Chaos. Each room he is fortunate enough to guide is offered respect, kindness, and a commitment to what is happening now.
The 5Rhythms are: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. Classes last two hours. They begin slow, the pace pick ups in the middle and end with a slow unwinding.
Wear clothes you can move in, dance barefoot or with indoor sneakers, bring a water bottle and your open heart. This is a drug and alcohol free practice.
