Maple Lawn is looking for a Controller/Financial Officer. This position oversees financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing payroll, and coordinating with external auditors. Additionally, the role involves office management duties, such as supervising administrative staff, supporting billing services, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the facility.
Qualifications
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance including Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans and Medicaid as well as private insurances.
Proficiency in payroll management
Strong supervisory and office management skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in a healthcare or medical care facility is a plus.
